Latest details of the new Renault Duster Concept have just been released

One of the most expected car events of this fall, the Johannesburg Motor Show, is going to hold the premiere of the new Renault Duster Concept. So far, Renault has released a couple of photos of the upcoming concept which has been created in collaboration with a design studio from Johannesburg and it is going to belong to the same budget class of off road vehicles.

The four photos show just a glimpse of the new features which are going to be introduced by Renault.
This way, we have been announced that there are two new shades available for the new car: the two tone Pearl Yellow and the classy Matte Grey. Also, as seen in the photos, the new design seems as though it has been inspired from elements which remind of the Dakar rally.

The brand new features include a new set of fog lights which are going to be integrated in a totally redesigned front grille. Also, the alloy wheels will have orange accents which seem quite a bit extravagant but they might not be available for the series version, and only included on this very new concept.

The company representatives have already confirmed that the interior of the cabin has been totally refurbished and the overall space is now increased. On the 16th of October when we will get to see the whole picture, we will definitely draw a serious conclusion on the appearance and performance of the new Renault Duster concept.

The Dacia duster has been released by Renault in 2010 and it has been the very first type of SUV produced and export all over Europe from Romania. It has been sold in Asia too but branded as Renault.

Currently, the budget SUV is still very much appreciated, especially in Asia where Renault has impressively expanded the sales with the latest opening of a local plant.

Western Europe has been the very first customer of the Dacia Duster and we have to admit that the sales figures were surprising. Dacia Duster has been in a continuous competition with other standard SUVs such as Hyundai but it has been offered for a lot more cheaper price so this what helped the vehicle expansion throughout the Western countries.

Often chosen as the second car, most of the Dacia Duster customers have chosen it as an economical family car or as an almost off roader that has been used mostly in the country side but not really bought for mainly off road.

Still offered in two variants – 4x2 and 4x4, the Dacia Duster has a 1.6 liter 16 V petrol engine which is able to produce 110 horsepower. Some would say that it is not really impressive but considering the very low price and all the series of hi tech features on the inside, this car is actually a great deal.

The company has recently stated that the new concept has been designed as a family car, meant for urban traffic and outside the city journeys as well.
