Land Rover Discovery 2017 Confirms Why It Is The King of the Mountain!
|   Sunday, October 16, 2016
The "King of the Mountain" presents its new image with a total bang, after showing its look a few days ago. The fifth generation of Land Rover Discovery adheres to the new brand image and launches the new chassis made of 80% aluminum, which lost 480 kg compared to its predecessor and is provided with four engines: three diesel and one gasoline engine.

The new Land Rover Discovery 2017, which will make its debut at the Paris Salon, can be ordered with a starting price of 56,150 euros, but customers will have to wait until April 2017 for the first deliveries.

This is how the model is self-defined, and there is an abundance of arguments to support its large off road capacity, something very strange today for such vehicles. It is also a 7 real seats car, which can be configured remotely from the smartphone due to the intelligent folding seats.
Among other new benefits to its dynamic capacity is the new more robust, secure and lightweight chassis. It is made of 80% aluminum, which allowed for the car to lose 480 kg with the resulting advantage on asphalt, forest roads and uneven land, regardless of the weather.

The new Land Rover Discovery has been designed for the entire family, with a semi-autonomous security technology that ensures maximum tranquility during driving. The materials that have been used inside are of high quality and able to withstand all kinds of scratches and stains made by occupants, regardless of their age, while each of its seven seats can accommodate an adult thanks to its big size.

It can accommodate up to 2,500 liters of luggage space. And if we need more space, we can carry a trailer of up to 3,500 kg, which together with the semi-autonomous Advanced Tow Assist system, allows driving maneuvers to be made easier.

But in the laboratories of Land Rover, not only space has been considered, but also the technology and the needs that of the family, therefore the car has several clever solutions on board, such as the nine USB ports, 6 loading points of 12 volts and a WiFi 3G for up to 8 devices.
As for the design, we can say that it has an asymmetrical arrangement of the elements in the rear.

Those interested in the new Land Rover Discovery can choose from four engines: three diesels and a petrol one. Among the first, we can choose a 4-cylinder turbo diesel and 2-liter displacement and 180 hp; the same engine reaches 240 hp thanks to the presence of two turbos. Likewise, we can also find a twin-turbo diesel with V6 structure of 3-liters and 258 hp. But those who prefer a gasoline engine will have a V6 with compressor of 3,000 cm3 and 340 hp.
Prices start from 56,150 euros and although the car is already available in dealer shops, deliveries will begin in April next year.
