Lamborghini Veneno claims to strike speeds of 221 miles per hour

The 50th anniversary of Lamborghini is celebrated by them in the Geneva motor show. They have unveiled their new model named as Lamborghini Veneno. This new car from the house of Lamborghini is based on the Aventador. This is a road going racer of 740 BHP and 221 mph.

The Veneno is nothing but a production reality. It has been claimed by Lamborghini that all the units of it are already for €3 million each inclusive of taxes which sums up to around £3.
2 million. It is said that this Geneva model is nothing but a prototype of the Lamborghini model. It will just continue to test on the road and the track.

Actually Geneva's design is mainly based on Aventador's fundamental design. But there are several key changes in this model from the Aventador and thus it is something which Lamborghini calls as the "street legal racing car." This is definitely a try from the producers to reduce the flaws that were found in the previous version of the Lamborghini.

Carbon-fire reinforced polymer is used for its chassis designing. It has got a monologue chassis. The bodywork of this model is optimized in such a way that it can optimize the aerodynamic efficiency, creating down force and reducing the drag. It is also used for cooling the 6.5 liter VI2, having a 50 BHP hike.

The front end of the car is made like that it can work like a large aerodynamic wing. The front wing of the car is modified in such a way that it is separated from each other like that of a sports car. This is done majorly to reduce the friction between the car and the wind. This would enable the car to hit higher speeds at the same level of torque.

The underbody of the car is also marvelously made in such a way that it is very smooth and is able to channel the exhausts in a large diffuser. The car has also got four integrated exhaust pipes for the purpose of diffusion. Other feature of the car is that it has got a changeable back wing. It has also got a carbon-fire tub and aluminum sub frame which is an adaptation from the previous version, the Aventador, but it is modified for the extreme uses of the Veneno.

The engine is also well made in such a way that it is benefitted from enlarged air intakes. It has also got a higher rev limit. The exhaust system of the car is made with a lower back-pressure. The gearbox of the car is manual and is supported with seven-speed. The car has also got an all wheel drive system and a pushrod suspension. These all features are adapted from the Aventador. Though the car is a modified version of the Aventador it promises a lot more than the previous version.
