Lamborghini Plans a Huge Launch for the Huracan LP 610-4
|   Monday, January 06, 2014
Lamborghini plans to bring the Gallardo replacement Huracan LP 610-4 to British showrooms by autumn 2014 and final plans are currently being assessed to make sure things run according to plan. Lamborghini plans on launching this vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show this March. An all wheel drive variant is expected soon even though we are promised a rear wheel drive vehicle at launch. This is important for any sports car hoping to maintain power and stability.
Hence, we are happy with its current power train.

Lamborghini has not rested even after coming up with this successful and highly popular vehicle, as they have started working on a Spyder now. The designing team has worked hard on this build as they were given the difficult task of keeping this vehicle true to its Gallardo frame, while giving it a fresh look and feel. As far as the drawings are concerned, they have done a grand job of the Huracan LP 610-4 and we are in love with the results.

This model was previously termed as Cabrera, but officials later renamed this vehicle. More power is not its only positive aspect. Advanced aerodynamics is in place along with less drag coefficient. All these factors together infuse the ingenuity of this vehicle and we are waiting eagerly to take it out for a spin.

Drive test reviews should be out soon and we will get back to you as soon as we are allowed behind the wheel. Lamborghini had a tough job competing with vehicles such as McLaren's MP4 12C, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG and BMW's latest 4 Series. We are therefore aware of Lamborghini's attempt at replacing the ageing Gallardo.

Sales figures achieved by the Gallardo since production, were the highest Lamborghini had ever seen. High officials now want to break that record, riding on the Huracan LP 610-4. The super car segment is quite active now and sales have increased on a global platform as well. With emerging markets such as China making a huge impact, major car makers are shifting focus to woo customers from these parts.

The Italian car making giant has added a few special touches to its Huracan LP 610-4 such as, a new platform although basic underpinnings have been borrowed from the Gallardo platform. It now sits beneath its more powerful cousin, Aventador in Lamborghini's official lineup. Aventador is also the most powerful vehicle in Lambo's garage ever since Audi took over back in 1998. Audi's R8 is also a tough competition for the Huracan, even though it's based on a different price segment.

We guess the Huracan LP 610-4 has what it takes to create a dimension and space of its own, although we need to review sales figures to determine its actual status with customers. As of now, inquiries have been high while people want to know when they can take possession of their vehicle. Do you think the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 has what it takes to be a show stopper this week at Detroit? Visit us next week to find out.
