Lamborghini confirming line up of the Sesto Elemento
|   Sunday, August 26, 2012
It wasn't enough that Lamborghini came up with a new supercar only last year and is already creating a hype for it's new SUV, they just confirmed the production line up of the new Sesto Elemento. The vehicle is expected to hit production soon and at a limited run. Not only was it a hard felt news for all Lamborghini lovers, but they would be more disappointed to know that Lamborghini has already accepted more than twenty orders for the car in San Diego and each of these units are going for $2.
million apiece.

Many of the owners are expecting to have a similar payment plan just as the Lamborghini Reventon which was three equal installments of $300,000 and a final Balloon payment of the remainder value. Still the price stage is quiet pricy for a V10 engine and 570HP, but is it really? Can you really say that the car is not worth every penny when you see a speed gauge that goes over 190Mph and has the potential of going 0-60 in less than 2.5 seconds?

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento architecture isn't all that different from the rest of the Lamborghini models. The main component is the same as other Lamborghini super cars, Carbon Fiber. However, the Sesto Elemento is made of carbon fiber with reinforced plastic. This was obviously not an easy task, one that Lamborghini could never achieve on it's own. That is why they collaborated with Boeing to make the architecture possible and allow the car to perform as it is. Together they formed the Advanced Composite Research Center which was able to result in the making of the Sesto Elemento's Carbon Fiber wheels, yes the entire wheel is made of carbon fiber, along with the exhaust system made of Pyrosic, a glass like material designed to withstand high temperatures of heat.

No doubt that the team is gloating on the success of the design and architecture. The vehicle clearly depicts the future of the super cars industry, a super car that is completely light weight, extremely strong and dependable with extreme performance. A combo not many competitors can put up with. In fact there are no close competitors to the car. If you look at the cars in the same price range you may see the Bugatti Veyron and the Koenigsegg Agera R, both of which are completely different cars.

Koenigsegg however has some closer experience with carbon fiber but nothing as close to the works you see in the new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. They never had the pleasure of working with Boeing like Lamborghini did.

Like in usual cars, the seats are made to be adjusted as per the drivers preference to the road. IN the Sesto Elemento there are no seats. The comfortable cushioning of the car is attached to the carbon fiber interior of the vehicle. The entire interior is a carbon fiber tub designed traditionally Lamborghini style. To allow the driver to adjust the interior as per driver liking and road preference, the Sesto Elemento comes with adjustable steering wheel and brake pedals. Even the most richest of us will have hard time making it this dream come true.
