LaFerrari sports car to be followed by further hybrids
|   Friday, August 23, 2013
Ferrari is currently planning to develop the sales of several new hybrid models among new, upscale customers, by following the 1 million euro LaFerrari. The current chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction regarding electric cars but has also added that he "strongly believes in hybrids" when interviewed by Bloomberg Television. Might be the reason why the company has lately been focused on production hybrid vehicles.
However, surprisingly enough, the same chairman has stated that Ferrari is not duty-bound to manufacture more vehicle as there are several other activities that have definitely been designed to raise the incoming revenues of the company.

It was already world wide known that the Fiat supercar Group unit is looking to broaden the productivity and sales outside the cars area. However, surprisingly enough, the same chairman has stated that Ferrari is not duty-bound to manufacture more vehicle as there are several other activities that have definitely been designed to raise the incoming revenues of the company.

The auto show organized in March at Geneva was the great revealing moment of the great LaFerrari. It seems that the release of this vehicle is Montezemolo's approach to expand the profit by expanding the production of more accessible vehicles, yet, keeping the exclusive notoriety of the brand.
Montezemolo has adopted a new strategy of gaining more customers by presenting the Ferrari brand as one that can adapt to different needs and tastes by complying to the customers' desires. We can only trust him as he is the one who has raised Ferrari into the great and famous brand.

Everyone is well aware of the green trend on the supercar market. And so is Ferrari as it is now one of car producers which are able to offer vehicles with a lot diminished emissions. Several other auto brands have already launched or are planning to showcase series of hybrid super cars: Porsche with 918 Spider, BMW with i8 and Land Rover too. This is easy to understand as the new hybrid technology seems to compliment a sports car by transforming it into an aggressive, powerful vehicle.

Ferrari's latest strategy is to exten the current business to some other projects such as licensing, merchandising and retail.
It was recently confirmed that Ferrari will not merge into the Chrysler Group but, exactly the opposite, Ferrari plans on a complete buyout of Chrysler.
Creating the fastest car and, at the same time, the most spectacular hybrid has been an amazing, and decisive achievement for Ferrari. The future models will definitely be inspired from this technology by incorporating special aerodynamics with HY-KERS drive system. The inside of the future cars will have something inspired from race cars and will feature a fixed driver seat associated with adjustable modules and pedal.

Ferrari's this year series' target is about 6,900 vehicles after the sold out of the supercar has proved that there is a high request on the market for such vehicles.
