Koenigsegg Presents Single Copy Special Edition - Agera RS Gryphon
|   Thursday, March 30, 2017
This year's Geneva Motor Show can boast not only with production model launches prepared by the major automakers from around the world, but with some special versions that will grab the full attention of the public, without a doubt. That is the case with Koenigsegg Agera RS Gryphon, a special and exclusive version of the Agera RS model. For starters we can say that the model in question will be built in a single copy!

Most of you will be wondering why only one copy?! Well, the Swedes will build only a single Agera RS Gryphon because they want to, abut also because this particular model will have rightf from the beginning 24-carat gold inserts.
These were applied to the bodywork of the standard model made of carbon fiber and represents the main feature that stands out at the Gryphon model.

The gold inserts are not the only novelty presented by the Agera RS Gryphon model, the Swedish manufacturer preparing a few surprises for the cabin. First of all, there will be special logo, Gryphon, accompanied, of course, by other gold inserts applied to the instrument panel. Also, the Alcantara leather, carbon fiber or black anodized aluminum are not lacking either.

Even if motorization remained the same as in the standard Agera RS, it does not mean it is any less impressive. We have to remember what we are talking about here: we have under the hood a V8 engine with a displacement of 5.0 liters, able to develop a hefty 1360 horsepower. With a total weight of just over 1360 kilograms, Agera Gryphon RS benefits from a power to weight ratio of 1: 1.

The Agera RS Gryphon special version will arrive in the future owner along with a helmet specially made for racing, made of carbon fiber. As you probably already figured out by now, considering everything described so far, the helmet will receive 24-carat gold inserts too.
If you wonder why people from Koenigsegg have thought to create such a special edition, we can say that they acted to meet a special order. The command for this model came from Manny Khoshbin, a prominent businessman and car collector.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS Gryphon special edition was unveiled in Geneva and after the event ended, the model went right into the new owner's garage.
