Kia Still impressing the Market
|   Monday, September 10, 2012
The year 2012 has been good to KIA. The Korean Motor Giant has been achieving awards and praises for it's completely new line of automobiles. The new lineup has been a great success in the market and has broken all of KIA's sales records . It is impressive, knowing that KIA was once the most undesirable brand in the Automobile Market. Sure it was always affordable and economical but it never appealed to the taste of the consumers.

All of that of course changed due to new engineering and designing skills of the company.
KIA swiped away many of the industry's leading designers from many major car brands and put them all together under one roof to design a completely new image for the company. It seemed all of that has paid out.

KIA has just released a sneak peak to the new 2014 KIA Forte Sedan, also known as the KIA Cerato in international markets. The car has plaid a major part in attracting sales in year 2011-2012 and in just 3 years, KIA has decided to completely reshape the car. The new car was being tested in the desert alongside the Ford Focus, clearly it's leading competitor and benchmark. According to the observers, the car seemed almost ready to hit the showrooms and could even beat the Ford Focus in international market in the coming year. A long shot no doubt considering the Ford Focus is one of the most popular and leading sales cars of the Ford Motor Company.

As presumed the new KIA Forte adapted the next generation look of the KIA design language, the same tiger nose look with an aggressive and demanding character line. Although as per the sketch concept that was previously seen by the public, the car has a much less aggressive character line than expected. The headlights seems to resemble the one's of KIA Optima yet the car seems to have it's own arced style eyes for the front face. The new design also has less focus on the rear and yet it said that the KIA's back trunk is slightly oversized.

As promised by the KIA motor company while revealing concept sketches of the 2014 KIA Forte, the new model is much more longer, wider and lower than the current model in the market. The specifications have also received an impressive upgrade considering it is a middle segment car. A LCD driver information Center, heated and cooling seats for the front and a push start ignition for the engine. All goodies you expect for a much pricier car.

We cannot say much about the performance of the car as it is yet to be tested or driven by anyone outside of the KIA office, but it is said that the car will come with same engine choices including 2.0 liter engine with 154HP or the 2.4 liter engine offering 170HP. The new KIA forte is expected to be available for sale in the U.S markets by early 2013 while the international markets will be getting their hands on it by late or mid year.
