Kia and Mercedes Benz Ready to Roll out New Models at the New York Motor Show

Kia has a few models planned at the moment although confirmation has not yet arrived on production of the viable vehicles. Kia wants to manufacture a rear wheel drive sports SUV to take on the Nissan Juke as well as future vehicles from Nissan which are on the cards at the moment. Kia has just revealed the Procee'd and the Carens at the Geneva Motor Show and plans to manufacture a new SUV were revealed at the venue.

Kia is working on a five year target to replace the vehicles in its current lineup.
A B Segment Sports SUV – the Provo - is also on the cards and Kia has already showcased the Concept at the Geneva Motor Show last week. The SUV sector is a mainstream sector on global platforms and Europe and China are the two major markets for SUVs at the moment.

Kia is well aware of its market stakes and plans on enhancing the market viability in the near future with its vehicles. Kia has designed the Provo Concept keeping in mind the GT vehicles. The Provo resembles a rear wheel drive hatch back / sedan and is perfect for long rides. The driving ergonomics of this vehicle is expected to be better than its predecessor. Kia has announced plans to offer optional kits with the Provo although it is premature to comment on the scenario.

Kia is also working on the Soul and the vehicle is expected to be launched at the New York Motor Show this month. The Soul could be out for sale in the European market by early 2014 and plans to send this car to production is open post the New York Motor Show. The future looks promising for Kia at the moment and the Provo is the vehicle that the company plans on developing at the moment.

Mercedes Benz has officially revealed its latest CLA 45 AMG prior to its official launch at the New York Motor Show this month. A singular image was disclosed and this has been done to create hype in the market prior to the official reveal. The Mercedes Benz A45 AMG hatch back was disclosed at the Geneva Motor Show last month and the CLA 45 AMG could be the based on the same platform.

The vehicle is expected to be powered by a four cylindered 2.0 liter engine displacing 355 BHP along with 332 ft lb of torque. The engine is mated to a seven speed automatic transmission system with dual clutch functionality along with a rear wheel drive platform. Mercedes Benz has heavily worked on the exterior of the vehicle and it is evident from the first glimpses of the vehicle.

Details regarding the specifications or interior have not been revealed and Mercedes Benz is yet to announce the price of the vehicle. Experts believe this car to be one of the foundations of the next generation vehicles from Mercedes Benz and the company is quite hopeful of huge volume of sales once the vehicle is available.
