Jeep Plans on Unveiling Baby SUV by March 2014
|   Friday, January 24, 2014
Jeep has quite a few promising vehicles in its lineup, although their latest mini SUV promises to be quite the player, by challenging Nissan's Juke in its own class. However, this vehicle remains true to its Jeep heredity as insiders promise off road fun on standard variants of this mini SUV. Spy images of this vehicle have been captured, testing on winter situations, which lead us to believe, Jeep is planning on global marketing for this vehicle.

American and European car markets have similar needs; although a significant amount of stark differences, distinguish products aimed at different markets. Jeep has kept this vehicle under wrap, while heavy camouflaging has been done to mask its original identity. This suggests that there is still some time left for an official unveil. Jeep has an extended grille up front, which looks like a new design, although we cannot confirm reports, without official help.

This vehicle is also based on Fiat's latest 500L platform, which is easily seen even beneath the mask. If rumors are to be believed, this vehicle is one of the most capable off roaders currently present. Its Mini SUV platform further reduces weights, which makes it compatible for heavy off road excursions. An experienced driver will be able to take it for heavy off road trips as well, although traveling soft road conditions are more appropriate considering its size and weight.

Jeep has high expectations pinned onto this vehicle. It effectively rivals Ford's EcoSport, Vauxhall's Mokka and Nissan's Juke in class. Jeep has extensive plans for this B Segment vehicle, which should enhance sales in Europe, North America and parts of China. Rugged exterior, followed by a luxury filled interior is expected on this vehicle, although it could be based on their Wrangler off roader brand.

Jeep plans on expansion as their current lineup gives them a very straight forward appeal. Diversification is needed in order to penetrate global markets and this is why they are working hard to develop new products. Stylish new creations will be Jeep's forte, according to its design team, while adventurous designs will always be their first priority.

This vehicle is slated for an official unveil at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year, Jeep has officially confirmed. This year incidentally, will be very busy for the people involved with Jeep. Optimum testing need to be performed to determine usability, as Jeep targets customers who are willing to use their vehicles as a daily commuter. In order to preserve their reputation, Jeep has travelled a long way, although they still have an uphill task taking on Land Rover in its own soil.

Apart from smaller SUVs, Jeep is currently working on a long wheel base, full sized SUV for future launch. Although much is yet to be known regarding this build, we are sure it will be based on their Wrangler platform too. Popularity has increased during recent times, as Jeep has fixed many of its inherent problems. We can now rely on their vehicles.
