JD power dominated by European car makers

The latest JD power study has been dominated by European brands which have got a satisfaction level of US owners. This satisfaction is with regards to their new vehicles. As per the competition in US automotive performance in the year 2012, Porsche has got the topmost position. There was a layout study for the last eight consecutive years. Here appeal had rated the same with 887 points out of 1000. Similarly Jaguar has been provided a little less point, i.
. 877. In the same field, BMW got 859 points. Audi got a point of 848 and Mercedes Benz is with 844 points. In the same place the land rover has acquired sixth position with a point of 833.

JD power's appeal will help you to realize that, it is really gratifying to own this new vehicle. You will also get a chance to get evaluation. This variation of car is having a great association with its eight categories. These categories include seats, sound system, handling and braking, ventilation and cooling, styling/ exteriors, seats, ride etc. The experts have gone through the quality study of this latest vehicle. After the analysis, this has been disclosed that, there is no problem per 100 vehicles. There are other brands in the market which have the peak above 2012 APEAL. These include Ford with a point of 791, Infiniti with the point 823, Volkswagen (812 points), Volvo (807), and Chrysler (789).

An unenviable wooden spoon was claimed by Suzuki which has got an APEAL rating of 745 points. Again the point for Subaru is 761 and Mitsubishi is with 752 points. The area of coverage which is just below the industry average has been occupied either by Korean or Japanese manufacturer. As compared to its last study, Ram, Dodge and Jaguar has got a great improvement. They have gained the points like 19, 21 and 20. You will be glad to know that, the score of Chevrolet is just exactly as the individual segment wins. It has its competitors as Volt, Sonic and Avalanche.

You will get to know about the name of seven prominent brands which have received two awards each , those are Nissan, Audi, Kia, Mini, Ford, Porsche and Dodge. As per the study, there is a downsizing attempt of 27 percent of car buyers in US market. All these buyers have purchased the new vehicle with a smaller size as compared to the vehicle which they already own. The study also said that, 60% of the car buyers have stick up to the car size which they have been driving to a long time. They want to buy the same size of car which they have already used. But only 13 percent of the car buyers in US have been seen to get the car upsized.

As per the APEAL study, there have been responses of more than 74,000 buyers for this variety of car. This is really a very good response. This is the result of survey that was conducted between February and May.
