Japanese car manufacturers ready to successfully come back on the European market
|   Tuesday, September 24, 2013
The Japanese cars have recently been losing ground on the European market but this is about to be changed as there are several models which are being customized by a lot of companies in order to appeal to the European drivers' demands.

Because of the fact that the recent sales of Hyundai and Kia have seriously been diminished in Europe, both Korean car manufacturers have decided to start producing new models which keep the same options which are demanded by the European drivers: super fuel efficient engines, either petrol or diesel.
Also, another appealing characteristic which is very important in Europe is the interior.

Therefore, most of the Asian car companies have been enhancing the interiors with several hi tech and wi-fi gadgets in order to satisfy the European drivers.
Due to the recent floods, tsunamis and earthquakes which hit the Asian countries in the past decade, the car manufacturers that used to be among the market leaders even in US and Europe, have seriously suffered important loss and, therefore, the production decreased.

Right after the catastrophes, the strategies have been rethought and some of the Asia car manufacturers decided to focus on the expansion of the North American market due to the fact that it represented a much faster way to recover.

Now, after the North America has been conquered and brands like Toyota actually lead several car segments, Europe is now reconsidered and several strategies must be in development right now.

One of the Asian brands that participated at Frankfurt Auto Show is Mazda. The company has presented the incredible Mazda3 which seems to be one of those fuel efficient and compact vehicle, so much appreciated on the European market. Ready to compete with Volkswagen Golf, Mazda3 is going to be available in the European showrooms very soon.

Two of the Japanese car manufacturers which had already had a good reputation on the European market, Kia and Hyundai, have already shared their strategies of approaching the European market with new series of enhanced, stylish, yet affordable vehicles.

The selling figures showed an incredible fact: it seems that in August 2013 Hyundai managed to surpass Nissan and actually win the second place after Toyota, even on the European market.

One of the latest trends on the European car market is the development of the wagons. This is indeed well known by Toyota as the company has just planned to start the production of Auris Touring Sports wagon. On the other hand, Honda is also developing a wagon: the new and improved Civic Tourer which is going to be available on the European market next year.

Wise enough, the European drivers seems to appreciate all sorts of vehicles which are able to use less fuel so most of the car manufacturers willing to expand on the European market have now been developing electric cars and hybrids but also a great deal of diesel, super efficient engines. And so are the Asia car manufacturers!
