Jaguar XJR official unveiling a day before public debut

Jaguar has been one of the best non German automobile manufacturing brands of all times. Jaguar is a British originated automobile manufacturing brand that is presently owned by the Tata Company from India.

Over the years that they have been in business, they have produced some wonderful cars that have managed to combine luxury and performance with such finesse that the product of this combination is always deadly. The latest release from Jaguar is the new Jaguar XJR.
The car has been officially unveiled before it is released publicly in the New York Auto Show 2013.

As labelled by the high officials of the company, the new Jaguar XJR is the best R car that the company has ever produced, and hence, available in the market. The release of the new XJR is a landmark for the company as the original nameplate; the high performance nameplate that was originally released in the year 1994 has made its way back to the XJ series after four years.

When judging the car, many criteria come into play. The major criteria remain the engine of the car. The engine hidden in the new Jaguar XJR's hood is a V8. This model of the V8 has a capacity of 5litres and is supercharged petrol engine. The specifications of the engine as far as the power is concerned are really amazing. The engine is capable of producing 404 kW or 680 NM of power.

The engine of the new Jaguar XJR is supported by the best in class standard ZF eight speed automatic transmission system. The combination of the engine and transmission system renders a great pickup to the car. The car can move from 0 to 100 km per hour in a time of just 4.6 seconds. It is one of the most agile and athletic cars present on the road.

The other features of the new Jaguar XJR are appealing. The car has a wonderful and uniquely adjusted front as well as rear suspension system. The wheel used is also an ultra light and big 20 inch alloy wheel. An upgraded steering system and stability control system enhances the performance and ease of handling of the new Jaguar XJR.

The designing of the car, both interior as well as exterior, is breathtaking. There has been many attributes in the exterior which has seen a remodeling such as the rear spoilers and others. Talking of the insides of the car, the leather covered seats and the speakers and other multimedia features make the car the ultimate combination of performance and comfort.

The car has received some good feedbacks form the critics and car enthusiasts that were present during the official unveiling of the car. All the features of the car has been well appreciated and the car as a whole as gained some acclamation.

The car has been priced at a base price of $320,000. The addition of extra features or some other things may affect the price of the new Jaguar by a small margin.
