Jaguar Reveal Teaser Images of the 4x4 Concept C X17 Prior to its Official Launch
|   Tuesday, September 10, 2013
The latest teaser images of Jaguar's 4 x 4 Concept have been leaked post its teaser image last week. This car is expected to be unveiled this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show and this is being done to enhance its popularity. These teaser images however are the first full sized image of this car and hence a proper idea of the Concept is now available.

The front end has been visibly inspired by Jaguar's XJ while this new vehicle is reportedly known as the C X17.
Of the two pictures revealed, the second one gives a clear impression of its rear section for the first time. Although experts initially believed that this vehicle would be inducted into Jaguar's XQ segment, the teasers clearly show that this vehicle is more inspired by Jaguar's F Series lineup.

The production version of this vehicle is also expected to feature an all aluminum chassis, which could be rivaling BMW's 3 Series. This cross over will however sit right below the XF when it comes into production. Insiders at Jaguar reveal that this vehicle was initially designed to merge together a few diverse designs of the different vehicles in Jaguar's lineup.

Jaguar believes in rediscovery and this car has been designed to do just that. Based on an all new architectural platform the Jaguar C X17 will be powered by a four cylindered 2.0 liter V6 (diesel and petrol) engine, although their displacement capability is being calculated right now. Although Jaguar is yet to affirm an official launch date, experts believe that this car should make it across showrooms fall 2016.

People however agree that the Jaguar C X17 is a stylish new ride and it combines sporty and stylish in a whole new avatar. Be it the smart new headlamp, front / rear bumper or the Daytime Running Lamps, the C X17 has a completely new feel in it. This is also true as this vehicle is the first cross over in the history of Jaguar.

Its engine is expected to be mated to an eight speed automatic transmission system with electric power steering as standard on all variants. It is still in its concept stages and as a result any production related information is yet to be officially revealed although a round of speculations is currently doing its rounds. The customer base for this vehicle is varied and the company has targeted people who are interested in a little more space than a hatch back along with a smooth and comfortable ride experience with a sense of refinement.

Considering the fact that this is a Jaguar at the end of the day, it is expected to be at its luxurious best. This will definitely brighten up the scenario in the cross over lineup and should be an instant hit owing to its configuration and features. Jaguar has really designed this vehicle in an interesting manner while technology and engineering are at their peak level. This is something which future vehicles from Jaguar could sport as well.
