Jaguar has introduced its new performance sedan lineup with the latest vehicle in the XJ lineup – the XJ R. The Jaguar XJ R is expected to be the dark horse emerging from the Jaguar stables this month at the New York Motor Show. The vehicle is powered by a 5.0 liter petrol powered V8 engine displacing 542 BHP. The XJ R is expected to displace the similar power as that of the XFR – S which was recently revealed.

Jaguar hasn't confirmed specific mechanical descriptions regarding the car but the vehicle is supposed to be based on a rear wheel drive platform and accelerates from 0 – 60 MPH in less than 5.
seconds. Jaguar has claimed that their new vehicle will offer the performance equivalent to a supercar and the official image unveil prior to the official reveal at the New York Motor Show will work well for building the hype in the market.

The front grille has been chromed with a matt black mesh while air intakes have been mounted on the grille. The gun metal gray paint scheme on the exterior of the vehicle showcased was well merged with the lighter chrome parts of the vehicle and the large five spoke sports rim wrapped in low bound tires further enhance the potential of the XJ.

The jaguar has not divulged details regarding the chassis and platform adjustments as well as the aerodynamic settings but the new XJ R is being compared to the XJ on various aspects. The XJ R is one of the most potent vehicles from Jaguar at the moment and the vehicle mixes the perfect balance between super car performance, looks, aesthetics and luxury.

Jaguar is expected to launch complete details regarding this vehicle at the New York Motor Show. The XJ R has received the optimum pre launch hype in the market and is one of the most awaited vehicles of the year. Jaguar is offering the highest level of luxury on the vehicle and the low slung overall body structure of the vehicle works in favor of aerodynamics and enhances the ground hugging capability of the vehicle.

Jaguar claims that the new XJ R is designed on three pillars – performance, luxury and looks - and these are expected to enhance the overall value and desirability of the vehicle. The XJ R offers a different level of refinement and Jaguar hopes to draw in more sales once the vehicle launches. The new lineup has already attracted the attention of potential buyers across different age groups. The XJ R is one of the most versatile rides of the year and although the interior specifications have not been unveiled as of yet, it is expected to be of standard nature.

Jaguar Land Rover is known for its versatile vehicles and the overall equipment level of the vehicle is what defines its nature. The XJ R if marketed properly could be the next best seller from the Jaguar family and the British car maker is trying its best to attain the maximum possible sales from this vehicle.
