Jaguar Land Rover Sales Improve Consistently Since Change of Ownership
|   Thursday, October 03, 2013
Latest figures indicate that Jaguar Land Rover is in sound financial health for this financial quarter. Experts believe that the figures should increase within the coming months, although it is impossible to believe that this company was actually on the brink of closure four years back, when it was in desperate need of a £500 million loan amount. It was the period of a global economic crisis and that is when current owners Tata appealed to the British Government for short loan tenure.

However, this process was slow and the Government was accused of trying to seek a post in Jaguar Land Rover's management board. Tata however managed to secure loans from private sector banks soon after. Sheer success followed and we can all see Jaguar Land Rover's current financial stability since then. After the first year of securing loans, Jaguar Land Rover turned £6.53 billion in profit.

When the financial calendar ended this April, the figures were at £15.78 Billion, a still rise of 140 percent. If these current financial status and proceedings are believed to be true, profit is expected to rise to £2.75 Billion by the next fiscal year. Jaguar Land Rover is investing higher sums that it recovers in profit figures as they are on an expansion spree. Jaguar Land Rover is making a move to penetrate most global markets and this is an ingenious business move.

Reports show Jaguar Land Rover have shown a 40 percent increase in global sales and revenue collection and this is great news for the company which was fighting for existence even a few years back. Development of infrastructure is a major need at the moment. Hence, company executives are working hard to ensure this turns into reality within the next few years.

Rapid expansions have its downsides as well and industry experts are worried about a downturn. The Range Rover Evoque plays a major role in this field while Jaguar Land Rover have a few interesting launches for the upcoming weeks. Russia and Brazil are growing markets for Jaguar Land Rover and hence future projects could be based on the needs of its locals.

Chinese automotive market is on a rapid growing spree and Jaguar Land Rover is making plans of enhancing sales in this part of the world. The company has plans to increase dealership network across this land. This plan includes increasing dealership numbers from 90 to 120 and later 150. European nations currently account for 70 percent of JLR shares and officials want these figures to improve within the next few years.

Building up mass market shares may seem simple, although it involves quite a bit of complex planning and aggressive marketing strategy. Setting ones priorities straight requires great level of skill and understanding and this is what the company is working on right now. We surely hope we get to see better vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover soon while the new and exciting vehicles are unveiled soon. Better times are ahead for this exclusive British brand.
