Jaguar Land Rover ready with a host of launches
|   Sunday, December 02, 2012
Jaguar plans on launching modest vehicles in the future in contrast to the Land Rover's plans of launching premium segment vehicles. The jaguar has two upcoming media sector vehicles based on the F Type Sports platform which will be available as Coupe and Sedan. Jaguar is also planning on launching the next generation SK Coupe, exclusively with front wheel drive option.

Jaguar is planning on launching the low budget vehicles to attract customers and building the brand image.
The downsizing is also due to the gloomy global economic scenario. With the latest crossover vehicles from Jaguar, the company is planning on cashing in on the blooming SUV segment. The F Type Roadster has been showcased and is expected in showrooms across Europe fall May 2013.

A new F Type Coupe will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 and this will be available with a manual transmission system to boost the driving experience. Jaguar land Rover had been building vehicles exclusively with automatic transmission system and the general scenario is on the verge of changing. 2013 also marks the 50th anniversary of the lightweight aluminum body framed E Type, which is also the inspiration behind the creation of the F Type vehicles.

Although the experts believe that launching a budget vehicle in the F Type lineup will adversely affect the image of Jaguar as a premium segment car maker, the bosses think otherwise. The upcoming models are very different from the ones that have been manufactured by Jaguar till date and Jaguar expects this move to be its trump card. A family oriented SUV is also on its way from the Jaguar stables and this vehicle is being planned keeping in mind the US market.

This SUV is a fantastic creation and insiders claim that till be the best offering from Jaguar till date and the vehicle is expected to go against the Infinity FX post launch. The SUV will be based on the aluminum framed XJ platform from Jaguar hence enhancing performance. An upcoming vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover is being developed on the steel platform from Land Rover and experts claim that this vehicle could be the next generation Freelander.

Jaguar needs a good car and fast as the last offering did its bit to malign the company's reputation. Jaguar had launched a Mondeo based vehicle in the XJ segment, which flopped and was considered to be an extremely down market product. The fourth launch from Jaguar is expected to be in the XK segment and insiders have hinted at a better and bigger vehicle in the XK lineup in the upcoming months.

The vehicle is expected to take on the Maserati Gran Cabrio and the Gran Turismo and rumors are already spreading like wildfire. These latest offerings have definitely stirred up the market and enthusiasts are waiting for these vehicles in the upcoming months. Considering Jaguar Land Rover and their experience in the field of car designing, it is unlikely that the brand will disappoint.
