IS the Aventador really all that great? The answer may Shock You

Lamborghini was founded with just one vision, Ferruccio Lamborghini simply wanted to build a better Ferrari. To a lot of people that was the invention of the Lamborghini Aventador but many experts would disagree. Don't get me wrong the super car is simply amazing and mouth watering with it's 612HP V12 engine.

A truly jaw drop beauty with it's amazing traditional front face of the Lamborghini Family, The thrust it gives when you're driving it down the highway over 200mph and most of all the tingling in your belly that you get when you have the pedal fully down.
Quite a few have felt all of this when test driving the Aventador down at the airport runway. Many couldn't believe the kind of thrill it gives. Motor trend even performed an amazing drag race that included the McLaren MP4-12C and Nissna GTR and the Aventador came out in the lead leaving the McLaren far behind the Aventador's tail.

So what really is wrong with this magnificent beauty? It launches nothing less than missle coming out of a tank and reaches 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds. For starters, the clutch system is really an embarrassment it comes with a single-clutch auto manual transmission that has really slow shift. Even though you are racing down the road, shifting in the Aventador is a real day at gym and you are to come out of it with a real great cardio exercise. This kind of frustration when driving a over a million dollar car just doesn't seem justified. It's competitors like the Porsche PDK and Ferrari come with a dual-clutch transimission, which is a hundred times better and easier than what you get in the Aventador.

Next we have the brakes. Yes Lamborghini is nothing if not made with carbon fiber but the brakes of the Aventador are simply not durable. They didn't even survive and needed immediate change after running a complete two lap track. For anyone that wants to really push the car to it's limits, buying the Aventador is one thing, keeping it in check may actually cost them another one. Plus the car may have strong grip but when driving over a rough path you could swear you felt each and every rock the car drove over. Like I said, you feel like you just got out of a cardio workout.

Nevertheless the Aventador is perhaps one of the fastest and most demanded car in the world right now. Lamborghini is set to improving itself in the future and the new Diablo's are expected to something really different. The Lamborghini trade symbol is building light and fast supercars with the traditional carbon fiber material and there is hardly a model in the market that people are not dying for. We can only hope that the new Sesto Elemento comes with the upgrades that shut up complains about the Lamborghini cars, not that anyone that ever bought one would have the heart to do it.
