Motor Shows are very important for all car makers as they provide a platform for all to showcase new models and technologies and the Paris International Motor Show 2012 had a few very interesting launches. The event was a huge hit with car makers getting what they wanted – feedback from the audience – and car lovers getting a taste of what the future of the automotive history could look like.

Showcased at the event were a huge list of concept vehicles, sedans, hatch backs, wagons, crossovers and SUVs and a detailed description of a few vehicles follow.
Renault revealed the fourth generation super mini Clio and Renault plans to capture lost turf with the launch of this model.

The Clio Mk 7 sports a longer, larger and lower wheelbase than the Clio Mk 3 and the vehicle heavily resembles the DeZir and the Fluence concept vehicles which were just unveiled at the Paris International Moto Show 2012.

The Clio 4 – as the vehicle is named – has received major exterior modifications and a host of other personalization options with a 12 inch touch screen and an upgraded interior. Also launched at the event was the all new estate from Mazda - Mazda 6.

The car is expected to be available in showrooms across the globe, fall 2013 and the vehicle will be sold alongside the Mazda 6 sedan. The Mazda 6 features the Kodo designing with Mazda's all new Sky Active technology and i-ELOOP energy regeneration system.

The Co2 emission and fuel consumption on the vehicle is low and the vehicle is set to go for a base price of 19,595 Pounds. Ford has also launched a remodeled Ford Fiesta and this is the first major upgrade to the vehicle since its launch four years back.

Ford has created some of the best selling super minis of today and the Fiesta leads the chart from all degrees. The car has an all new face lifted front lamp, grille and side panels and these have been inspired from the Evos concept.

The vehicles cannot be distinguished from the exterior point and the engine on the Fiesta is the petrol version of the eco boost. The Fiesta is also available in a 1.5 liter diesel engine and this produces 74 BHP more than the petrol version. The 1.6 liter petrol engine is present on the top end model of the Fiesta and this produces a total of 177 BHP.

Paris International Motor Show 2012 also witnessed the launch of the all new Vauxhall Adam. The vehicle is based on the same platform as the Fiat 500 and the Citroen DS3 and the engine has been lifted straight up the Corsa. The Adam sports a starting price tag of 11,255 Pounds and its sale will attract a lot of customers due to its high performance.

Some other cars set to be showcases at the event are Dacia Sandero, Kia Carens, Volkswagen Golf GTI, and Honda CR–V, Seat Leon, Audi A3 sports back and the Ford Mondeo.
