Hyundai Reveals New i30 Range Along With New i30 Turbo Model

The new and improved design for the i30 model, the i30 Turbo fitted with a 1.6-liter T-GDI, 186 hp for the top version, which highlights the new Hyundai hexagonal grid has just been revealed. It comes with a new range of engines and transmissions for efficient handling.

Hyundai introduces a new range i30top model: the i30 Turbo, which emphasizes dynamism, performance, sportiness and driving pleasure. The whole i30 family has been improved with new engines, transmissions, safety features and comfort which adds a superior experience on board of the C class model.


From March 2015 it will be on sale and the new Hyundai i30 will be available in three body versions (three door, five door and wagon). It benefits from a new dual clutch seven-speed transmission and an ultra-performance version with 186 hp engine running on gasoline. The models of the new range offer a fuel consumption of up to 3.6 l / km and emissions up to 94 g / km.

The 2015 Hyundai i30 was designed and developed at Hyundai's European Technical Centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, and the model will be manufactured at the plant in Nošovice, Czech Republic.

The design was revised: the front is highlighted by the new hexagonal grid's form. In addition, the profile has been changed - new alloy rims 16, 17 or 18 inches wide, with 15-inch wheel covers. Available as standard, the twin-xenon headlights also confer a pleasing appearance and increased visibility to this model.

The new Hyundai i30 is available in a range of seven diesel / petrol - all Euro 6 compliant- with outputs between 90 hp and 186 hp, and low CO2 emissions standing at no more than 94g / km.

Customers will be able to choose between three diesel engines - 1.4-liter 90 hp and 1.6-liter in two versions rated at 110 hp and 136 hp. For those who prefer petrol engines, the new i30 has three engines, offering between 100 hp and 135 hp and 186 hp with the new engine Turbo GDI that equips the i30 Turbo.

The 1.6-liter diesel engines and GDI petrol are available with new dual-clutch seven-speed automatic DCT transmission, which enables the driver to drive in automatic mode (ideal for city travel) or sequentially.

In terms of fuel economy, the new 2015 Hyundai i30 offers an integrated Stop & Go system, an aerodynamic structure, the front grille and intelligent alternator management system.

Designed for driving pleasure, the new i30 Turbo GDI Gamma 1.6-liter 186 hp emphasizes on sportiness, but also a good adaptation for everyday use. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 8.0 seconds, and top speed reaches 219 km / h.

The exterior design of the new Hyundai i30 Turbo has been customized to highlight the sporting character among the distinctive elements, especially the new radiator grille, the details in shades of red for the front and rear bumpers, newly designed LED front lights, dual exhaust and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior is characterized by sports seats, finishes in shades of red on the steering wheel, gearshift, and interior doors.

Like all new models in Hyundai's range, the new i30 enjoys a unique package, available only in Europe through which Hyundai offers five years of unlimited mileage warranty. In addition, this program provides customers with free roadside assistance and vehicle technical inspection for a period of five years.
