Hyundai presented at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show new models, concepts and innovative technologies. The i20 Active and Santa Fe two premieres complete the youngest range of the brand in Europe, all new models having less than two years since launch.

The Auto Android technology that allows connection of a smartphone with the car's infotainment system will debut on the new i40. This way Hyundai is among the top brands in Europe that offers this facility.

The company's passion for design is represented by the Vision G idea, unveiled in a world premiere in Frankfurt, which shows the future line design of the products that will be launched by this brand. Also in the International Motor Show, Hyundai presented N, the new performance division of the brand.

The Vision G concept reflects the design's evolution of future Hyundai products with advanced connectivity and control technology. The unique design and advanced technologies have been developed in collaboration with all Hyundai Design centers around the world. The new features, such as touch screen with curved screen gives a shade of refinement for the interior conceived from high quality materials.

With this occasion the i20 Active and Santa Fe were presented, equipped with a series of new active safety systems. Also, the 1.0 liter engine T-GDI was introduced on the entire i20 range.

The new i20 Active will be available on the European market, reinforcing Hyundai i20 range alongside the five-door variant and i20 Coupe. The model has a distinctive design and enhanced versatility for customers who prefer adventurous lifestyles. In addition, it has a modified suspension setup that provides a higher ground clearance by 20 mm compared with the five-door version, and a higher position of the seats for increased visibility.

For more efficiency, a new three-cylinder gasoline engine 1.0-liter turbo with direct-injection with two power versions will be available on all i20 range. The 100 hp version is designed to maximize fuel efficiency, while the 120 hp unit has been developed for more driving comfort, without making compromises in terms of efficiency.
The longest serving SUV of the brand in Europe comes with a number of changes in terms of design, technology, comfort and active safety.

The Santa Fe has an athletic profile, dynamic and imposing. In addition, the model has a number of new active safety systems which include: autonomous emergency brake, rear warning system for traffic when exiting the parking lot, intelligent automatic pilot, blind spot monitoring system, lane changing warning system and high beam assist system, all for increased safety and comfort.

Hyundai was the first car manufacturer that introduced in the first half of this year the Android Auto on the Hyundai Sonata model in the United States. Now it will be among the first manufacturers which will integrate this system in Europe when launched on the new i40 in November 2015.

Auto Android allows smartphones users with Android technology to connect their terminal with the car's infotainment system to access apps, music and other communication services and radio. Android Auto utilizes the smartphone's capabilities to always provide drivers various ways to stay connected.
