Hyundai Ferrari and KTM Ready with Big Launches for the Geneva Motor Show
|   Tuesday, March 12, 2013
Hyundai is all set to launch the next generation model of the i10 and the vehicle was recently spotted testing near the Arctic Circle. Little information is available regarding the Hyundai i10 apart from the fact that Hyundai has designed the vehicle keeping in mind the Volkswagen Up, which is the latest benchmark product in the market within this price range. However, the external styling has been altered, although details could not be gathered as the vehicle was heavily camouflaged.

Hyundai is offering two distinct power train options on the vehicle – 1.0 and 1.2 liter petrol engines with optional manual / automated transmission system. The interior styling is expected to be changed and could reflect the idea behind the upcoming i30 and i40 hatchbacks. The feel of the cabin is expected to be enhanced over its predecessor and this could be a positive appeal of the vehicle.

The optional range of equipments used on the vehicle could be expanded while offering more entertainment and connectivity options while production is expected to start late 2013 with sales expected fall 2014. Ferrari has also showcased the third teaser image of the upcoming Enzo. The images show the vehicle in a new light and the next generation Enzo features a striking new exterior as compared to its predecessor.

The Ferrari Enzo will be competing with the recently unveiled McLaren P1 and will displace close to 800 BHP while weighing as low as 1100 kg. The reports are however unconfirmed and will be based on a complete carbon fiber structure. The Enzo has its roots based on the 2005 model of the Enzo and hence the hype in the market is high regarding this particular vehicle.
The vehicle is expected to be powered by a 6.3 Liter V12 petrol engine, developed from the F12s and will displace an approximate 750 BHP with an additional 100 BHP displacement from an electric motor. The electric motor will displace 200 ft lbs of torque and this forms a major part of the drive train of the vehicle.

Although Ferrari has not revealed an official price as of yet, experts believe that the price tag will be around the £1,000,000 mark. The Enzo will be showcased this week at the Geneva Motor Show along with the new KTM X Bow GT and this is set to be another incredible four wheeler launch from KTM. Although the official information regarding the vehicle has not been revealed, the X Bow could very well be the next best-selling car on the road.

The vehicle is most likely to be powered by a 273 BHP displacing four cylinder turbo charged engine manufactured by Audi and the total system is mated to a six speed transmission system. The top speed of the vehicle is not available as of now and the final weight of the car has not been announced as the weight after installing the permanent wind screen has not been calculated as of yet. However, the vehicle creates a down force of 200 kg when the vehicle is at 124 MPH.
