Honda to recall Civic cars in US

Honda has recently announced in a press conference that soon they are going to recall their civic cars that were sold in US during last year. There are few issues with the air conditioning system of the car.

Giving more information on the topic the company said last week that this is just a minor issue and there is no need to worry about this. Honda said that they recently came to know about this issue and the air conditioner pipeline has some minor issue in it.
Honda doesn't want to take any risk and thus they have decided to recall their cars.

According to the company they are around 45000 cars which have this issue in them. The company said that they are soon going to inform all the owners of their civic cars who buy it since the first month of last year to the last month of this year.

When Honda was asked that how much time will be require on a specific car in order to resolve this issue, they said that they will try to return the car same day when the user bring them to the authorized service center of the company. Company said that though the fault is related with the air conditioner pipeline of the car, but there is a strong possibility that the fault will not be same in all the cars. For this reason resolving of issue needs time which might be for two days as well.

The company said that they are providing their clients the option of dropping their car to any authorized service center anywhere in the US for resolving this issue. IF the time required is more than a day, then it is totally the responsibility of the company to deliver the cars to the owners.
According to Honda they are going to start this process after 15 June and user can bring their Civic cars to the service center of Honda on any date till the 15 July. If this time period needs to be increased, then surely the company will increase it up to the desired extent.

Company said that they have started an online registration for this process and the clients have to register themselves before bringing their car to the service center. Company said that they have started this registration because they don't want that large number of users arrive at a specific service center on the same. According to company, this is something that may create lot of problems for the service center and clients as well.

Honda said that they have around 3300 service centers all over the US and users are free to bring their cars on any nearest service center. In case there is any issue with the availability on a specific service center, the company will inform the client.

According to the company they will use different sources of communication to inform their clients. This is because of the reason that message can be conveyed to all the owners of Civic cars on time.
