|   Sunday, August 18, 2013
Honda has just unveiled the first look of its new car which the company planned on introducing, to compete with the other GT 500 vehicles in the Japanese GT class touring vehicles. Although the Nexus Super GT is still in its concept stages, Honda is set to unveil the car officially within 2014, when it is to make its debut on the track.

Honda has named the vehicle the NSX Concept GT and the car is equipped with a race hybrid power train. This new vehicle complies with the rules set up by the Japan Automobile Federation and should be able to tackle most of its competition in the next year.
The engine specification is yet to be known while the three-cylindered engine is lifted of the Acura RSX.

Honda has done quite an amount of research while designing the car and the NSX Concept has successfully replaced the HSV 10 GT. THE HSV is Honda's current vehicle in the Super GT 500 Touring car championship and was the replacement to the NSX Concept, which had to be cancelled back in 2008 due to a major financial crisis. The NSX will be the first car to make it into the grid fall 2014 and consecutive policies are being applied to make this vehicle successful.

The vehicles in the DTM class have been studied closely by Honda before they went into designing the NSX GT and as a result this vehicle features the amalgamation of the best aspects of quite a few vehicles. All in all, the NSX GT is quite the thing of the present. The NSX is expected to be powered by a 2.0 liter V6 engine lineup while the turbo charged four=cylindered engine is a one of a kind source of power displacement.

The engine used in the NSX should not displace less than 500 BHP as the other vehicles in class although power displacement cannot be increased keeping in mind the cap placed by the authorities. Lexus has also recently confirmed that the latest RC based vehicle from its stables will participate in this year's GT.

The NSX Concept GT 500 is a one of a kind futuristic vehicle will advanced technologies aimed at enhancing the general ergonomics and drive dynamics of the car. The exterior has been designed in an exceptionally aerodynamic fashion while the exterior body panels are quite futuristic. Although the list of electronic devices used on the car is not available at the moment, Honda confirms that this vehicle will boast of next generation technologies which will be brought to street legal cars quite soon.

However, it remains to be seen if the production version of the NSX manages to retain the body lines and features of its concept design, although it should be the same if insiders are to be believed. Fans around the globe have rejoiced as news of the Honda NSX Concept being showcased spread. The car has hyped up the market as it is and this is just the beginning.
