Honda Installs Dynamic Modifications on its 2014 Civic Hatch
|   Saturday, November 16, 2013
Honda has given its Civic Hatch back some very dynamic changes and exterior modifications for its upcoming model and this should give the vehicle an advanced and sporty feel. Cosmetic improvements paired with dynamic upgrades define Honda's ninth generation Civic although they have a subtle edge to them and are not in your face. Electronic steering wheel finds its way back to this vehicle which enhances steering and handling dynamics.

Traction has improved while rear and front bumpers have been tweaked, enhancing body control while its rear suspension and camber settings give this vehicle the sporty edge which it needs.
Honda has taken into consideration various reports and suggestions from current Civic users and successive improvements were made to this vehicle since. Honda employed engineers from its Swindon plant to work on improvements and it looks like they have carried out plans quite successfully.

A comprehensive drive test needs to be performed on this vehicle to ascertain probable changes to its drive train although we expect Honda to unveil technical specifications before long. The 2014 Civic Hatch back is a Japanese car with European taste and aesthetics and this is a rare and successful combination which needs to be tested before mass implementation.

Honda is known to be a pioneer in various fields of vehicle design although they now plan on modifying their standard version to comply with needs and demands of European customers. Their range topping Civic Type R Performance Variant should make final approach by 2015 and various modifications should line this vehicle. Few cosmetic modifications have been confirmed on this car such as number plate surround, tailgate, body colored parts and a lower rear bumper.

The front bumper has been finished using piano black instead of anthracite gray found in current variants while darker wheel arches and rims make it a beauty above all. Sports rims have been added while various stitching details are set to adorn its interior. Aluminum and carbon fiber is also present in parts to reduce weight although they should increase base prices by a bit.

Without official prices being revealed, we are not sure what to expect from this vehicle while cup holders and gloss black insets should be present on its interior. Honda has also worked extensively on its advanced safety mechanisms and drive assist parameters and they should be available on its hatch back and coupe variants for an additional £500. Standard system includes blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition, active city braking and lane departure warning. Pedestrian safety mechanisms are also expected to be available on this vehicle.

Left hand drive versions are available although vehicles for the right hand drive markets are yet to be manufactured. The current lineup starts at £16,995 although the next generation vehicles are expected to feature a premium on the price. Honda is expected to install a 1.4 liter i-VTEC petrol engine on its range topping SE trim although various modifications are expected on its interior such as the new DAB radio kit.
