General Motors vows for Chevrolet Cruze to protect resale price

As per the news published for Ohio, the sales of Chevrolet Cruze is falling in a fast pace. Yet the General motors do not have any initiation to fight with the crises. Many of the experts have assumed that, the general motors' have a strategy of fill the blank space by keeping high prices for the compact cars. This is also an attempt of cleaning the inventory. There was a conference on Wednesday with regards to the same subject. The Vice president of General Motors also said that, the company can easily get a huge slap with a back deals on cruze.

The low cost car is the only way to get more sales in the short term market. But the Chevrolet Cruze is associated with the brand building discipline. According to a spokesman of General Motors, the company will get a long term dividend with a resale price of Cruze. As compared to its competitors, the cruze sale is $2000 more. The proceed act was associated with Chevy Cobalt. This have been sold with a price tag less than $2000 that its competitors in the car market. This was effective due to the constant steep discounts associated with the same.

Honda has used a great strategy of diligently guarding resale. Decades of the success stories of Honda are just due to this strategy. It has been viewed that, Honda has never provided with a discount on its civic series of car range. The news has also been viewed with regards to non existence of sale to the rental fleets. There are many loyal customers of Honda. They are aware of the fact that, their car values will not decrease ever. The goodwill of Honda in car market has worked really in a magical way. The management of Honda has said that, this strategy is actually working well so far. There is a comparison of various car prices in the particular market.

The comparison is made among ford focus, Honda civic, Chevrolet cruise and Toyota. For the long term benefit, GM can definitely keep the resale value high. The civic was worth of 81 percent of the original price. But while comparing the same with the Cobalt, it has got a worse selling price. The car was able to stand on 69 percent of its original value.

There are different types of customers in the market with different taste as well as preference. Some of the loyal customers will stick to the brand name where as other can move around with regards to specification as well as other features.
