Ford Redesigns and Introduces the F 150 Limited
|   Wednesday, June 20, 2012
The redesigned 2013 Ford F150 Limited pickup has made its debut in Bruceville, Texas on Monday, three days ago. It had picked up a major design overhaul three years ago and a power train overhaul last year. This award-winning pickup is now ready with the latest cabin and styling technology.

The pickup truck was introduced during the sixty-fifth anniversary celebrations of the F Series pickups and Ford's partnership with the Future Farmers of America.
Ford Motor has used the event of the Future Farmers of America held last Monday because it reflects the automobile manufacturer's support of this particular organization. For the academic year of 2011-12, the Built Ford Tough Scholarship Program and a combination of two hundred and eighty five participating dealerships presented five hundred and forty Future Farmers grants worth a thousand dollars each for their under-graduate program post their high school education.

The good news for the truck consumers is that the F150 Limited pickups will now offer them the MyFord Touch voice-activated Infotainment System. The system has been modified for truck handling duty. The touch screen is operable by people who will have to wear work gloves. MyFord Touch System comes with an eight-inch screen. Those pickups that may not be equipped with the MyFord Touch System will get a version of Sync with a smaller four-inch LCD screen that will be available and it displays audio and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) information.

The F150 Limited will go on sale this fall. Full size pickups make up about ten per cent of the United States truck market. The F150 Limited is adding a new luxury package as a brand to the lineup of Ford with all levels of trim getting cosmetic modifications to the front profile and a much better connectivity in the interior. The F150 Limited also has high density headlights and new alloy wheels.

For its visual presence, the F150 Limited will be remarkable for its trim levels, its headlights, its new grilles and the wheel options. In the F Series lineup, the Limited will perhaps come next in importance after the F150 Platinum. The other two brands are the Lariat and King Ranch.
In trying to play up to the gallery and the popularity in the State of Texas, Ford Motor Company is coming out with three exterior colors for the F150 Limited. These colors are the Blue Jean Metallic, the Kodiak Brown Metallic and the Ruby Red Clearcoat Metallic.

Ford is striving to pay attention to an uncompromising strategy for its customers by giving them full convenience backed with the technology in terms of capabilities and fuel efficiency. F150 Limited has a 3.7-liter V-6 engine with an output of 360 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The F Series pickups of the Ford Motor Company are one of the world's bestselling and popular trucks. The main credit for this goes to the designers and the engineers. The move to launch the redesigned F150 Limited pickup by Ford is to counter balance the challenge posed by the forthcoming trucks from Chrysler and General Motors. The expected rivals are the redesigned Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. These redesigned editions are likely to hit the market by the spring of next year.
