Ford plans to Launch EcoSport in India

Ford has forwarded towards success, recently Ford has launched its EcoSport compact car in India. In starting price of this vehicle set to lower scale in order to compete with other cars. In the current situation of the market, Ford is competing with customers as well as SUV makers. The SUV is the most popular product in India, as the economy turns weaker the demand of loan increases which hit the auto vehicle market. The Eco Sport model comes with 1.
liter gas engine which cost about 5 lakh and 60 thousand rupees. Top dealership in New Delhi this top end version has a 1.5 liter diesel engine with the price of about 9 lakh rupees. Another variation of this sporty model is a 1 liter gasoline engine with Eco boost technology.

According to analysts said that the vehicle is in main competition which resemble to Renault's duster model. Officials of Ford in India said that demand of the SUV is increasing day by day and until now 65 thousand have ordered since the last July. The Duster gasoline model which has lowest price starts from 8 lakh rupees in New Delhi. The top line model price ranging above 1.21 million Indian bugs Mahindra SUV500 has a starting price of 1.21 million while Scorpio SUV has 8 lakh.

The price of Ford is very competitive said by the senior analysts of global insight Anil Sharma in India. A vehicle which has big capacity side by side gasoline and diesel engine of 1.2 liter capacity and 1.5 liter capacity qualifies for 12 percent excise duty in India. This vehicle has 3.9 meters in length and engine capacity of 1 liter of gasoline as well as 1.5 liter of diesel; this specification fall under 12 percent of taxes otherwise it would have to pay 24 percent tax. That is the reason ford can offer competitive price for others.

SUV model is the most popular in India hence the sales cross 52 percent since March 31. Though diesel SUV's sell better because of its gasoline prices, Ford id heading its engine capacity and fuel efficiency for the Eco Sport car buyer. Ford aims to produce this model in India to capture the local as well as international market from India. Firstly company will focus to complete the demands of local market said by the president of Ford India.

The SUV is manufactured in Chennai southern part of the city. This production plant has a capacity to generate 200 thousand vehicles and 340 thousand engines per year which is such a huge capacity. This unique model of Eco Sport is only manufactured in two countries that is Brazil and in China, but Ford plans to set their plant in Brazil Thailand and in Russia. This time the Ford is aiming higher so that it can gain the market and maintain their position in the list of the successful series of auto manufacturer. From the ay first Ford is showing their position in the market by working hard.
