|   Sunday, November 04, 2012
Fiat is all set to launch the customized version of its new super mini, the Abarth 695 at the Paris International Motor Show 2012. The car will be up for special production and potential customers will be allowed to consult the designers and engineers regarding their personalized vehicles and Fiat will deliver the customized cars directly to their homes.

Almost all the parts of the vehicle can be customized and the customer's full consent will be taken before customization of any car begins.
The customization work will be complete with a final custom paint job from the company.

For starters, Fiat will have a variety of standard paint jobs, vinyls and decals ready for the customer's to choose from apart from a few preloaded engine customizations. However, if a customer wants to modify anything in addition to the standard customizations, Fiat will do him the honors and give him the fully tuned vehicle right from the factory and hence the car with all its components will be under warranty from the company.

In addition to the exterior modifications, the car is also set to receive an interior modification kit which includes a special JBL sound system with attached woofers and sub woofers which call for a complete musical experience. The car will be your auditorium on wheels and the deep bass is the new style statement for this vehicle.

The Abarth 695 is designed on the Tributo Maserati and the Tributo Ferrari special edition vehicles and uses a similar 1.4 liter turbo charged, 174 BHP Fuorie Serie engine. The engine is mated to the specially created Abarth 695 Competizione automatic transmission system, all complete with paddle shafts behind the steering wheel.

This advanced transmission system allows the driver to take complete control over the vehicle without any electronic assistance. This tests the real girth of the person behind the wheels. However, electronic driving assistance technologies are present in the vehicle and can be turned on depending upon the driver's choice.

The Abarth 695 has a top speed close to 145 mph and can accelerate from 0 – 60 mph in a little more than six seconds. As with all the other Abarth series vehicles, the 695 comes with a MacPherson strut torsion beam rear suspension system. The car has advanced 17 inch rims along with attached Brembo disk brakes. The advanced braking system is perfect for slowing down the vehicle from high speeds and the car is brought to rest from more than 100 mph in less than five seconds flat.

The Abarth 695 has a small wheel base and this helps the car take dynamic turns within the city. The small size of the vehicle also means a small radius and as a result more space on the go. Decent fuel efficiency measures also account for its high city usability and the car with all its customizations is perfect for the college goers. This modification is available for an additional charge and the prices have not been disclosed by Fiat till now. The Paris Motor Show is the likely platform for the launch of the specification details.
