Ferrari showcases its speed monster in the form of LaFerrari

Ferrari has recently announced a new car at the Geneva motor show. It is a sort of a new war with its old rival McLaren. It is a second front for the McLaren. It is a £1 million substitute for its 10-year old supercar and they have named it as the LaFerrari.

Prior to the reveal of LaFerrari, McLaren has launched a new car namely McLaren P1. This one is launched in order to attract those customers who would go for the Ferrari McLaren.

As said by Maranello, this car has been intentionally named LaFerrari meaning "the Ferrari".
This car is a combination of all the previous Ferrari models put together in a new envelope. There are many similarities between these two models namely McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. They are both provided with petrol electric hybrids. Both of them have a total output exceeding 900 BHP.

Two of the companies claim to have a close relationship those of the formula 1 car's design. Both of the cars are based on a carbon fire chassis. Both of the rivals tries to swipe at each other in matter of carbon fire chassis but still the Ferrari bosses says that they do not want the best carbon fire tub but the best car on the market.

Either of the car wants to claim the title of the "best driver's car in the world", but McLaren P1 costs £866,000 while Literary which costs £1,040,000 claims that they have already many buyers for it. One of the major points of difference between the two cars is that the Ferrari has a normal 6.3 liter V12 engine while McLaren P1 has a twin turbo 3.8 liter V8.
Both the car's have a similar performance like both of them can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Ferrari claims to have an acceleration of 0-300 km/hr in just 15.5 seconds, this is just a 1.5 seconds faster than that claimed by McLaren. Ferrari also claims to have a lap time of less than seven minutes.

Ferrari is about 110 mm longer than the McLaren and about 50 mm wide, but it is surprisingly 54 mm lower. A relatively radical 59 per cent weight bias is claimed by the Ferrari. A compact wheelbase of 2650 mm is claimed by Ferrari. The driving position of this is also very much similar to a single seated and the suggestions of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa has been taken before building this. The chassis of this car is made in the autoclaves of the Ferrari's car department. This has been made using four different hand laminated carbon fiber.

The cabin of the LaFerrari is more sort of a race oriented than being luxurious. The steering wheel of this car is made like that of a racing car and it offers five different driving modes than the usual four modes. Sophisticated aerodynamics of this car changes automatically according to the situations. LaFerrari also has a moveable diffuser.
