Ferrari Anticipating to Get Even Richer This Year
|   Saturday, September 08, 2012
We all know only the rich and famous get to be behind the wheels of a Ferrari but in this economy you can't help to wonder what happened to all the companies that make the rich people stuff. All the toys of the signature brands, do people really spend money on useless items in this state of the world? Well Ferrari seems to have that answer.

Last year in the year 2010-2011 year, Ferrari posted a record breaking sales of selling 7195 cars. The super car company broke it's own record with and a made a swift €321 million.
One would think a sales like that would be enough but NO, Ferrari is anticipating to sell even more cars this year and break it's own record once again. At a time when most of the European automakers are struggling in the market, the Italian Automaker seems to proving the point that only efficient running of a company can truly make it profitable and successful. This year Ferrari is anticipating a record sales of nearly 7300 cars and making a rough €304 million in profit.

Of course the company may not be doing so well in profit figures but it's still a much better performance than most other automakers. In fact the Italian automaker, Lamborghini, in the same market as the Ferrari is running into serious financial troubles. Still despite their struggle there are many auto lovers out there that may not allow the Lamborghini to simply close down so easily.

The company's CEO is set to breaking it's own record for two consecutive years and hopefully plans to do it again next year. It's fascinating how a company selling cars in such a small volume can make soo much profit. Their strategy doesn't even seem much related to price since the car's just in line with it's two main competitors, Lamborghini and Aston Martin.

Record sales isn't all that Ferrari is up to. Word is that Ferrari is working on 620HP 458 Monte Carlo. This, when the market is all hyped-up about the Lamborghini Aventador which is also in the same power range. The Aventador has been increasing the popularity of Lamborghini and has become of the most desirable cars in the current market. Ferrari of course would never sit ideally by and see a company whose sole purpose for existence was to build a better Ferrari simply slash down its own market rep.

Drivers are expecting to see a hardcore version of the new 458 Italia and see it compete with Lamborghini's Aventador. The car is said to be a 50HP increase over the standard 458 Italia's performance of 570 HP and will also be much lighter to add more speed and agility to the car. An upgrade option for the brakes and suspensions will also be offered but all with a hefty price. Will it be as good and powerful as the Italian Competitor? Only time will tell when we see more than just news.
