Facelift version of Renault Fluence sedan spotted testing
|   Saturday, June 30, 2012
The Fluence sedan under Renault which will hit the showrooms in the year 2013 is being given a whole new look. This new and improved version of the vehicle has been spotted testing out on the roads overseas. This prototype is the very first prototype of Fluence ever. It will be sold as the dense version of Samsung SM3 and its market will be South Korea.
The prototype that was spotted testing was disguised a lot. Apparently, no significant changes were noticed in the new model.
The changes that could be seen were minor.

The front of the vehicle had a grille and headlamps were there too. On the other hand, the rare of the car had a modified tall and the bumper placed there was also new one. As this was the very first time this prototype was out, only deliberate changes were observed and it is not known what more changes will the car have. It won't be out till next year so there is plenty of time for the manufacturers to bring out another modified prototype for testing.

Though Fluence sedan had been launched in India last year but the market there did not give any positive response. There weren't much sale as the price of the car was not just. The car was a diesel version and it also had insufficient features. Therefore, it was not admired by the Indian market much. Some had also criticized Renault on aiming a small and less savvy target market such as India. Renault has no plans to expand its dealership structure but what can be done is to change the price policy a bit just to attract customers in India. A little change in price can change the preferences of the target market for sure.

Apart from Fluence sedan, the Duster SUV will also be launched in India in the coming time. Many dealers are looking forward to sell this vehicle. This has increased the hopes of Renault for the sales of its SUV. New version of Fluence sedan will be brought in India for sale as soon as the car is globally launched out in the markets. Let's hope the car this time targets its sales as it has been revamped.

Other than the sedan, Scala is another vehicle that will be launched by Renault in India. It will be a revised version of Nissan Sunny.
The facelift version is not what Renault is going to aim for. Making Fluence sedan the base model, it has decided to launch out the 2nd generation Dacia Logan. Renault sure is a lot busy in making the new Fluence. The previous version of Fluence was admired a lot by the European target audience and almost more than millions of units of the model were sold in the market after the launch. The new facelift version will be coming in the next year's beginning. It is not too much of the time to wait but those who are anxious won't take rest till it's out.
