Expansion of the Dacia Range now put on hold by authorities
|   Wednesday, March 27, 2013
Geneva Motor Show has been a great platform to showcase new car models over the years. Right from the time when the event started, more and more new cars have been unveiled in this show and all of them have been a success. So it can be considered that the Motor Show plays a part in the success of these car models.

There have been some great releases in the Geneva Motor Show 2013. The cars that have been unveiled in this year's event include cars from all major automobile manufacturing companies from all over the world.
One such car is a part of the Dacia series.

Renault is the company responsible for the new release, Dacia Logan MCV. There are rumours that there is a chance of expanding the Dacia series, although no confirmation from the authorities has yet been received, but still it is a probability.

It has been heard that some models of the Dacia series are already thought upon and they are ready for manufacturing. All these speculation, however, is based on rumours and there is no official say confirming these rumours. Even if there are some models which are being thought upon, it will take some major time to come to the market.

Expanding the ranges of the different series of their cars has been a growing trend these days. Ever car model that has even the tiniest bit of potential is given a facelift and then released as a new edition of the old model. This practice has been in use for quite some time now, and while some facelift are done to re release some old classic models model by modifying them to fit the modern times, some facelifts are done just to provide a few more options on the features and accessories of the car.

Truly, if a car is re released only after a few months of the release of the original model, than it is obvious that the new edition will not have many changes. Some minor changes in the looks or dimensions of the car, or maybe a bit more power from the engine or a few more accessories or features are all that is on offer in the new edition of the car models.

The basic aim of remodelling and expanding the range is to keep the basic structure and features of the car same with some changes in details. The expansion takes place only when the demand for a certain model goes up, or there is a positive feedback, or the customers want more options.

As far as the Dacia from Renault goes, the expansion is on hold. The authorities claim that expanding the range of Dacia is not their first priority at the moment and they have other bigger things to invest their time and money in. However, Dacia remains in the picture and they support the prospect of expansion of the Dacia range sometimes in the future. It is now only a matter of time to observe if the expansion takes place.
