|   Tuesday, July 16, 2013
Ford one of the most popular automobile brand is facing losses in the Europe automobile market. According to Chief Executive officer of Ford in Europe, at the current situation the Ford is not capable to expand their production capacity in Europe. This statement has given to news reporter in his office. He also said that, Ford does not believe in overreacting to the situation Ford is monitoring the situation and if they feel serious situation then it will surely take some suitable step.

Ford is still aiming to break their sales record of 2015 in Europe but due to under production capacity creates trouble for Ford. The officials of the company said that, the share percentage of Ford has risen from 7.2 to 8.2 %. To achieve the market of Europe as per requirement this is the major challenge for the CEO of Ford motors. Actually Ford major profit sharing site is North American plant and are looking to expand its profit. The analysts of the automaker have predicted that the annual loss of Ford has increased from 1.75 billion dollars to 2 billion dollars.

Ford is really suffering with the current situation of the European market, and they are not in a position to face further losses at this stage. Recently Ford share has risen up to 0.8 % to 17.11 dollars nearest to the New York. To be in the market Ford continuously launches its new models like Eco sport, sport utility and other popular vehicle, which could be beneficial for Ford to reduce its bad impact and losses. Ford also aims to increase the sales with huge margin.

Due to this ongoing situation from past Ford announced in October 2012 that, they are going to close their 3 factories in Europe due to which 6000 people will be jobless and it will reduce 13 % of their production. This step could lead the deficiency in production of Ford which is about 350 thousand vehicles annually. According to the officials of Ford they aim that; if they close their factories then Ford could stabilize and meet the demand of Europe automotive market. Ford predicts that the sales will increase up to 13.5 million rather than 12 million which was in 2008.

One thing that should be highlighted to understand the seriousness of this issue is that, Ford has suffered the losses of 462 million dollars at the start of 2013. Still they believe that this loss will be converted into profit by 2015. Later on many people suggest that Ford should not close any of their factories in Europe.

This is really a critical and hectic situation for Ford in European market. Due to hard work engineers and workers of Ford they will surely get out of this situation very soon. Ford is really planning something big to overcome this issue secretly. Now just pray for the Ford so that it could easily come out of this situation as early as possible and feed the market of Europe as per demand.
