Earn More Money by Advertising with Your Car
|   Tuesday, April 23, 2013
Sometimes a car can be more of a drain on your finances than it's worth. Cars are not only expensive to buy and run, they're also expensive to maintain. In fact, the cost of financing a car has risen so steeply over the years that many people are finding that they simply can't afford to run a car at all anymore. This is particularly true for young people and women, who have seen their insurance premiums take a hike over recent months.
Thankfully, there is one sure fire way to lower the costs of running you car, and it involves using your car to make more money – without having to do a thing.

About Car Advertising
Many companies choose to advertise on people's cars, because it's a great way to get steady brand exposure. The advertisement will be clearly seen by people when the car is being driven, and if the driver in question regularly drives on busy roads (such as during their commute) this exposure could be invaluable.

If you have a business to promote, you may also wish to think about putting advertising on your car. Many large brands invest in vehicle advertising, because they know it's a cost effective way to drive up brand interest through regular exposure.

Different Types of Advertising on Cars
There are various different types of advertising which can be used on cars, and it's entirely up to you how distinctive you want this advertising to be. But since advertising is meant to be seen, not hidden away, you should bear in mind that you probably won't be able to choose anything unobtrusive.

Wrapped Ads
Wrapped advertisements are a great way to advertise your business, or make money by advertising someone else's business. Providing, of course, that you don't mind having a logo or slogan splashed across the majority of your car's bodywork. Some companies will pay good money to have you drive around advertising their brand, however be warned: decals are hard to remove and hard to ignore!

Magnetic Signs
Magnetic signs don't have the permanency of wrapped ads, however they can still be very effective when placed strategically on your car. Magnetic car signs from Signarama are a great example of how metallic signs can be affixed to your car, for a great look and cost effective advertising. Simple, affordable and unobtrusive, if only one person becomes a customer as a result of your magnetic sign, it will have done its job.

Flyers
Flyers are the perfect on-car advertising solution for people with small businesses, as they can be placed anywhere in your car and changed whenever you require. Flyers have something of a reputation for looking inexpensive, however yours can be as professional or casual as you like. And the best thing about flyers is that they can be easily produced en masse, so if a potential customer takes an interest in your business you can give them a flyer to take away.
