|   Sunday, September 01, 2013
Dodge is all set to showcase a track enhanced version of the latest model of the Viper SRT. Tagged the Viper Time Attack, the vehicle undergoes a host of modifications that make the vehicle track friendly. The Viper is known for its sheer aggressive looks, power, and masculinity and supped up engine and this modifications aims at enhancing the total performance of the car.

Dodge plans on manufacturing just 33 units of the Viper TA and all these machines will be done up in vivid orange with black TA logos inscribed on the body.
The damper controls have been done up to the optimum level with additional Bilstein Damptronic additions while Sidewinder II rims have been added to the vehicle to enhance performance as well as make the vehicle look good.

The mass of the overall vehicle is at an all time low and this is enhancing the overall performance of the Viper TA. Dodge is quite skeptical about the performance of the machine as the Viper is a car based on power and performance. The aluminum based parts of the vehicle have been replaced by carbon fiber kits and this enhances acceleration, top speed as well as handling. Standard Brembo brake kits have been installed in the vehicle and this instills confidence in the driver.

The braking ability has been enhanced by advanced thermal capacity which enhances the vehicle's track performance. The TA is powered by an 8.4 liter V10 engine fond on a standard Viper SRT with the exceptional modifications having been made to the car. Overall, this engine displaces 640 BHP along with 600 ft lb of torque and this makes it a beast on road.

The TA can be distinguished visually from the Viper SRT due to the additional carbon fiber grille along with the spoiler and the DRL mountings up front. The center console has been given a major upgrade while the interior sports racing gadgets that make the vehicle a total speed freak. Dodge has been designing Vipers since a long time now and this vehicle is truly an American legend.

The Viper SRT is regarded to be one of the deadliest vehicles on road and a major reason for this is its mind boggling performance boost. The production cost behind the Viper has been utilized solely on power and this makes this vehicle a potential threat to the other super cars in the market. The Viper TA actually has the power to compete with many super cars in the market although the cost of the vehicle is barely a third of its rivals.

The production of the Viper TA is expected to begin within a few months and final preparations are being made. Official road test figures have not been made available and this is attributed mainly to the final testing which is yet to be conducted. Dodge has plans to reveal official road test figures to the public as and when they happen and pre bookings of the Viper TA could begin by the end of the month.
