Dacia motors plans on launching three new vehicles for the South Asian market
|   Tuesday, October 02, 2012
Dacia Motors has used the Paris International Motor Show 2012 as an able platform to launch three of its new models the redesigned Logan, the Sandero and the all new Sandero Step Way. The Logan sedan will not be available across the United Kingdom initially as Dacia has no plans to launch then vehicle as of yet. However, the British market will feature the Sandero and the Sandero Step Way.

Dacia is an established market in the South Asian countries and the Logan is specified for the needs of the market.
Hence, Europe is not a viable market for the Logan at the moment and hence the introduction of the Sandero.

Both the Logan and Sandero feature similar wheel base and drive train features with the exception of a few minor changes. The Sandero hatch back will be available in showrooms across UK from January and the Step Way will be available post July.

The new models from Dacia speak about the company's new found designing skills and innovative technology and the company is poised to capture the market very soon if things go at this pace.

The three variants sport similar front grilles, front bumpers, angular head lamps and horizontal stripes to its side and the vehicle are similar looking when it comes to the exterior front. The pronounce wheel arches look prominent on the vehicle and highlight the aggressive nature of the exterior styling.

The Sandero Step Way accounted for more than fifty percent of the previous year's Dacia sales and the auto makers hope that the new model will do the same for sales this year. The new Step Way features an all new wheel base length and this is set to thin out the lines between an SUV and a car.

The Dacia Sandero Step Way plans to be the company's next big production line vehicle and with the improvement in interior space and technology, the car can be the next big thing in the market. The Step Way is modified on its previous platform the B0 and features an increased ride height of 40 mm.
The Sandero Step Way's resemblance to SUVs is not limited to its ride height only and the high placed fog lamps, skid plates and dual toned roof bars also do their bit to complete the look. The drive train of the vehicle is what needs to be watched out for as the vehicle features a TCe 90 unit three cylinder turbo charged engine.

The vehicles feature an increased ground clearance to keep up with the market needs of the South Asian countries. The cabin is sound proof and the vibrations have been kept out of the cabin. The equipment standard is quite high in the vehicle and the quality of the parts used is at par with the minimum standards.

The Sandero and Logan have been designed keeping in mind the need for increased cabin space and the central cubby box has been placed strategically to accommodate luggage space without affecting interior space.
