Chrysler launches the all new 300 C

The all new Chrysler 300 C - the flagship model of Chrysler - has been launched in the market. The saloon, which is set to establish Chrysler in the premium saloon segment, launched this June and the prices have been announced in the United Kingdom.

The 300 C was showcased at the 2011 Detroit Motor Show and grabbed a lot of eyeballs for its intricate design, jaw dropping performance and best in class engineering. The new 300 C is available in two diesel engine variants and the prices for the base model start at 35,995 OTR in the United Kingdom.


The car is poised to provide American standard performance and safety measures and European standard luxury, equipments and finesse. Overall the 300 C is set to capture the market as soon as delivery begins. Booking for the car has been opened and the first deliveries are scheduled to be made by December 2012.

This four door vehicle is set for the market challenge and is the best in class in this segment. This is and news for the competitors as the 300 C offers the best in class mileage, economy, luxury, performance and safety features.

The 300 C has actually managed to set a benchmark for the vehicles in this segment and challenges the other top end models of reputed car makers for the top spot of the luxury saloon segment.

The high end model of the 300 C is priced competitively in the market and features climate control, cruise control, forward collision warning, a blind spot monitoring system, keyless entry, leather seats, automatic rear sun shade and power steering.

The 300 C is powered by an efficient yet powerful 3.0 L V 6 diesel engine and it produces a massive 540 Nm torque and 236 BHP. The vehicle has a fuel economy of 39.8 mpg with the best in class economy and the Co2 emission is at a respectable 185 – 191 g/km depending upon the diameter of the wheel.

The exterior of the new 300 C bear a striking resemblance to the previous model but the new design features and technology in it makes the succeeding vehicle stand out from the previous version. The sleek lines, muscular built frame and the sharp rear end make the 300 C stand out in the crowd.

The 300 C also has the least amount of engine noise in its class and this also speaks up in its favor. The car also features improved safety measures like heated rear and front leather seats, a strong aluminum chassis, a metal frame, front and rear adjustable suspension, and an adjustable ride height. Comfort features include LED daytime lamps to save energy, a new hill start assist technology, electronic stability control, front, side and curtain air bags and head restraints.

Nigel Land, the Brand Director of Chrysler Jeep UK announced that production of the car is underway and the price will be fixed keeping market conditions in mind. The new 300 C is built to grab eyeballs and is a class apart.
