Chrysler 300S - Now Bolder And More Athletic
|   Thursday, April 28, 2016
Chrysler has been delighting customers with easily recognizable designs, craftsmanship, innovation, as well as using the latest technology at a high value since the company's inception back in 1925.

For 2017, Chrysler plans on updating its model Chrysler 300S with a series of aggressive and athletic aesthetic elements. This new look is due to new equipment package for indoor and outdoor sports (Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Packages). In addition Chrysler specialists have updated the colors and materials so as to convert the model 300 into a symbol of the company.

The outdoor sports package gives the car a more daring look, as well as a remarkable presence on the road. The new package can be found in the standard equipment for the V8 engine version, while for the V6 engine model, it is optional. However, for both the special package incorporates an aggressive front end with large air intakes and fog lights with LED technology, which emphasize the high-class maneuverability of the car.

These new fog lamps can only be found exclusively in the new package presented by Chrysler, and consists of a horizontal strip of eight LEDs, which give a distinctive aura and a special signature during the night.

The aggressive exterior appearance is complemented by 20-inch wheels (or 19 inches for the model with all-wheel drive), which seem to be flanking the side skirts, as well as a spoiler that perfectly completes the dual exhaust system.

Inside the car, new seats with sporty contours from leather are mounted. These are premium quality, from perforated leather and offer lumbar support to the front passengers, while offering enhanced comfort too.

In addition, the seats are heated and ventilated. The Piano Black elements are found on the dashboard and door panel. The Light Diesel Grey stitch highlights craftsmanship, with which the doors, center console armrests, instrument panel, steering wheel and seats have been crafted.

The new exterior color, Ceramic Grey, gives the Chrysler 300S a really tough look. Other colors which are listed in the presentation catalog are Bright White, Gloss Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic, Jazz Blue Pearl, and Redline Red Tri-coat.

In the Chrysler 300 range, the 300S model is the most dynamic and most capable. The sport driving mode transforms the performance and personality of the car by reducing shift times from about 400 milliseconds to 250 milliseconds, by increasing the responsiveness of the engine.

For a greater performance from the V6 engine with a displacement of 3.6 liters, extra power was brought, now reaching 300 horsepower. For customers who want more, there is also the Chrysler 300S model with a V8 engine displacing 5.7 liters and rated at 363 horsepower.

"The new 2017 Chrysler 300S re-excites the passion of what owning an American flagship sedan is about," declared Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. "And now for our Chrysler enthusiasts, two all-new sport appearance packages that take the 300S model's athletic styling and appointments to the next level."
