Chevrolet Delivers Classic and Modern Muscle Cars to SEMA

At the SEMA Show Chevrolet brought several Camaro modified model, as well as a Chevelle classic model from the year 1969!
The new Chevrolet Camaro Turbo AutoX combines a turbo engine that has a displacement of 2.0 liters with a technical substrate adapted to racing circuits. It gets sports suspension that lowers the ground clearance by 20 mm, thicker stabilizers, more rigid bushings and reinforcing elements. This model also has 20-inch wheels shod in Goodyear tires, 285/35 ZR20, a braking system with 370 mm brake discs and 6-piston calipers on the front axle, while the engine receives sport intake and exhaust systems.

The exterior is spiced by the Yellow Shock color, silver and black lines, a ventilated hood, front splitter, rear spoiler and a rear diffuser. It also gets a tow hook as well as a GoPro camera mount, veritable staples for autocross and track-day sets.
The interior is lined in black leather, suede steering wheel features, the dashboard comes with carbon fiber inserts and seatbelts fastened in 5 points are installed for safety on the track.

The second model is Camaro SS Slammer Concept. Being based on the version equipped with a V8 engine with a displacement of 6.2 liters and 461 horsepower, this model seems to be turned into a Hotwheels toy equipped with extremely large rims, which radically changes the car's proportions. On the front axle of the Camaro SS Slammer 22-inch chrome wheels shod in 245/30 R22 tires are installed, while on the rear axle 24-inch rims with 275/25 R24 tires are fitted!

The ground clearance has been radical lowered using a pneumatic suspension.
For an even more spectacular effect, the bodywork was painted in three layers with a unique color named Dazzling Black, while receiving a discreet aerodynamic kit. The optical blocks are tinted and the interior is covered in red leather, Adrenaline Red.

The huge V8 engine under the hood received a sports exhaust system too that reduces resistance by 25 percent compared to standard exhaust system.
The most interesting bit is that Chevrolet alluded that parts developed from this model might actually become available as Chevrolet Performance Parts sometime in the future, meaning you can take your Camaro and evolve it into a dragster!

The most interesting model present, however, is the old 1969 Chevelle, called Slammer, made in the same style as the Camaro SS Slammer Concept but with a strong dose of classic muscle car!

This dose of true muscle car is offered by the LT1 unit, also found under the hoods of the Corvette Stingray and Camaro SS models, which due to its advanced camshaft and sport exhaust system develops 542 hp, meaning 81 HP more power. The V8 engine is mated to an automatic transmission SuperMatic 4L75-E.

On the outside, the Chevelle Slammer model comes with a revised bodywork, 18-inch chrome wheels on the front and 20-inch rear axle, while the ground clearance has been lowered using the pneumatic suspension. The brake system with 6-piston calipers on the front axle are taken from the Camaro SS. For an aggressive look the exterior was painted black and the interior is lined in red leather.
