Cadillac on the road to expand its brand internationally
|   Tuesday, June 12, 2012
Everyone is well aware of the Cadillac brand which is a worldwide motor sports brand. LMP i.e. the Le Mans Prototype was manufactured by Cadillac for the promotion of the Northstar. This race program included many other vehicles that belonged to the 2000 to 2002 series.

As this program enabled Cadillac to meet its goal, General Motors also pulled out a session before the 2003 season. After this, Cadillac went to campaign in the SCCA series with the CTS-V that had to compete from the year 2004 to 2007.

When General Motors got bankrupt, then the racing career of Cadillac was badly influenced. The good thing was that it made a comeback in the SCCA series in the year 2011 with CST-V. This provided it a lot of success as it managed to win the whole season almost. Keeping in mind these efforts and successes, USA Today has issued this news that now Cadillac will be taking part in another racing series very soon.

The Global Marketing Manager at Cadillac James Vurpillat said that they are looking forward to race in Eastern Europe, China and a number of other series held on many of the countries all over the world.

It can be said that racing will not help this time. Money will be needed in order to make the customers see the product. He also said that though they know what the international racing sessions demand but still they have been forced to use Chinese or Russian name that could be similar to the Japanese or Australian supercar series.

It is suggested to Cadillac that if it wants to expand its racing to international levels then for that it must work on product series rather than those made from the prototype ones. The marketing manager of Cadillac says that when production cars are used on the racing track then it enables the customers to predict what will be the performance of the vehicle on track as compared to that on the road.

A number of series have started to be held all over the globe now among which the Super CT, Grand Am and German Touring Car are some of the most common ones. Therefore, Cadillac's idea to take its racing series to international level will be admired by all. Though there are doubts that will we be able to satisfy the target audience or not but we sure know that people all over the world love luxury cars, said the marketing manager at Cadillac.

He also said that as they are on the struggle to expand their brand, they will be focusing on providing high end performance as they move forward to enter into markets. We will not miss any chance that will enable us to show our performance and we will make avenues too that will help us in showing the world what we are.

They surely look quite enthusiastic to run their new campaigns and expand their brand all over the world making customers accept it.
