|   Wednesday, October 10, 2012
Buick has finally launched the Regal GS and the all new technical innovations have made the vehicle user friendly. Buick was always known for its driver friendly and economic vehicles and the all new Regal GS manages to maintain the reputation.

The Buick Hyper Strut technology used in the Regal GS aims to make driving a better experience and Buick seems to have done it correctly with the Regal GS. The separation between the front and rear suspension is larger and this results in better control over the road.

The aerodynamics of the Regal GS is different from that of any other vehicle from Buick and this is in league with an all new technology. The vehicle has no similarities with its predecessor and is in a league of its own. The reduction in torque, drive steer control, brake assistance and stability control are some of the advanced electronic features on the Regal GS and this vehicle and the improved camber control helps the driver control the vehicle in a better manner.

Turbo lag is missing completely and the vehicle has reduced wheel spin and this is helpful while cornering the vehicle or on surfaces which have loose traction. The vehicle is an all wheel drive with mid engine but it is devoid of the extra weight normally found on front wheel drive vehicles.

The Regal GS features a turbo charged four cylindered engine and has the highest horse power per liter ratio featured in any Buick vehicle till date and the vehicle features advanced spark injected direct ignition and separate valve timing. The built in computer does most of the controlling and this vehicle can well be used for people to learn how to drive as the vehicle has a very less margin of meeting with an accident.

The Regal GS features a few drive train options and this includes a sports mode, racing mode and normal mode. The torque and power to weight ratio along with the ride height is adjusted with the switch in every mode and the computer keeps track of the road condition to assist the driver in controlling the car in a better fashion.

The six speed automatic transmission make for better switch in gears and the vehicle is quite smooth and firm on the track. The Regal GS also features hill start and this is quite helpful in the hilly areas. This system prevents the vehicle from rolling back when the vehicle is in neutral and this prevents unnecessary accidents.

The turbo charger is perfectly synchronized with the acceleration pedal and the vehicle is quite responsive on the open roads. The Buick Regal GS is similar to the Volvo S 60 and the basic platform of the vehicles is similar. Hence the vehicles are quite similar in terms of their drive trains and the Regal GS cold be your next purchase if you are looking for a vehicle to drive to work every day. This is a complete vehicle and the launch dates and price are yet to be officially announced.
