Bugatti 16 C Galibier - a symbol of style
|   Tuesday, June 04, 2013
Bugatti 16 C Galibier is scheduled to come out sometime between 2014 and 2015.

For over a hundred years, Bugatti has always remained a symbol of style, status, luxury and elegancy. The car with the most extraordinary designs and exclusivity is none other than Bugatti. The company has a history of coming up with the design and models that far surpass other brands. This the reason, why the announcement of the release of Bugatti 16 C Galibier intrigued the elite class so much.
The new and the unique thing about this car is that this will be the first ever sedan by Bugatti featuring five doors and, of course, they won't be compromising on releasing the most comfortable and luxurious car ever.

The car is a luxury car and it was introduced at the Molsheim in France during an invitation show in 2009. There is an 8.0 Liter twin W16 engine that provides car with the power using the all-wheel drive. It is expected that Royale which is the production version of this car's concept will be in the markets by the end of 2014.

The name of the car is a bit unconventional. Actually, it originates from the Bugatti Type 57 Galibier. These types of names are used by Bugatti to refer to passes. Galibier is the name of a pass in France and the 16 cylinders of the engine account for the 16C.

Since there is no production version out in the market, so the details of engine are yet to be revealed. However, as they have mentioned, the engine will be having the same specifications of the one in the Veyron, so it is easy to figure out that they engine would be 8-liter and the engineering design is the W-16. As for the improvements, the torque will be increased because this engine will have twin superchargers. With the mighty engine, comes a mighty top speed. With Veyron, it was possible to get a top speed of about 408 km/h and it required not more than 3 seconds to achieve an amazing 100 km/h. So, Galibier must be at least better than that!

It is clear that the designers and the engineers of the Bugatti aim to make Bugatti the best and the ultimate luxury car ever. The first glimpse of the car will make you appreciate the neatness of the engineering. The instrumentation has remained concealed behind the structure that avoids the useless cluttering. The flush and the transmission controller are housed in a console. Aluminum is used in the headrests of the seats. The windows are mighty and neat as expected from the Bugatti designers. The various other features that are complementary when you spend so much include the climate control, the power steering and the ability to start with a button. There is an awesome audio system and of course, the safety airbags along with the power windows. Let's not forget the ABS here.

The price of the car is about $ 1.4 million and expectations are that it will be out early in 2015.
