Brian Daly Transport plans to replace old fleet of trucks with the new Renault Premium
|   Saturday, October 06, 2012
Brian Daly Transport, one of Ireland's leading logistic and warehousing companies, has received a Renault Premium Special Series Truck, the flagship vehicle of its 36 strong fleet. The truck was delivered through the Setanta Vehicles Sales and Brain Daly chose the Renault as previous Renault models proved to be quite fuel efficient while delivering on all the promises.

The truck comes equipped with the Optidriver + automatic transmission and will handle the delivery and collection operations for Coca Cola - Brian Daly Transport's topmost client.
The Premium 460.25 LD TML 6 x 2 will be replacing the previously used DAF and Scania models and the company plans to run a fleet of Renault trucks by late 2013 for logistical purposes.
The Managing Director of Brian Daly transport, Mr. Brian Daly commented that the major reason for shifting to a total Renault fleet is due to the cost saving mechanism and fuel efficiency of the Renault trucks and their reliability.

The Premium is currently returning 9 – 9.5 miles per gallon compared to the other DAFs which return 7 – 7.5 miles per gallon and this is a remarkable performance compared to the size and towing capacity of the truck.

The company has also sighted after sales services and cost of replacements as the major reason behind the switchover. Brian Dale Transport shares a healthy rapport with Setanta and this is definitely aiding the decision of the switch.

Setanta offers quick solutions in case of breakdowns and as a result the company has to suffer less in case of a major fault. This is a very important factor when it comes to the transport business and the fewer amounts of time wasted, the better for everybody related.

The premium is also of sporty nature as the truck is race inspired and uses technological specifications related to the world of racing. Renault is also experienced in constricting trucks and this is hence a viable decision.
The trucks have an all new interior design that was previously unknown to truckers. The cabin of the Premium actually reminds one of the cabins of a high end luxury sedan. It is perfect for long journeys and is highly comfortable.

The quality of the parts and materials used in the truck is of premium quality and this increases the overall appeal of the vehicle. The truck features independent front shock absorbers and this enhances the handling by a great margin.

The ride height has been decreased and it feels more grounded which lends more confidence to the person at the wheels. Stability has been increased and the suspension absorbs unwanted shocks better than the predeceasing models.

John Daly founded the Brian Daly Transport group in 1992 and it is a family run organization. The company was named after his son Brian who is the present owner of the firm and the company has a strong base of followers and clients.

The company's clientele includes the Coca Cola Company, British Sugar and STL and the list is still increasing.
