Bosch Is Accused Of Playing A Major Role In The Dieselgate Scandal: They Provided The Software!

The charges brought by lawyers of the car owners affected by this scandal indicate that the German giant apparently provided the software able to identify when the car was tested.
Components manufacturer and a partner of Volkswagen for over a decade, the Germans from Bosch are accused of having played a major role in the Dieselgate scandal.

Bosch and Volkswagen are two giants in their field, and two of the oldest partners in the automotive world.

Good friends help each other in difficult times, so it seems that's exactly what the two companies did. But this help meant the deception of millions of people.
Although not much has been heard lately about the emissions scandal, recently, lawyers of the car owners affected by this scandal dropped the bomb.
It seems that Bosch provided Volkswagen with the software package able to identify when the car was placed on the laboratory tests. The problem is that they have been doing this since the late 90s.

Documents filed by lawyers show that "Bosch has been an active participant in a massive conspiracy with Volkswagen for over a decade. Bosch has played a crucial role in this major fraud and took advantage of it."

The German giant is one of the largest manufacturers of central units for motor control, and regarding this accusation, the company representatives admitted that the software was indeed provided to Volkswagen, but the carmaker is responsible for how it is used because it can always modify it.
Although it started mid last year, there are no signs that the Dieselgate scandal would end anytime soon.

Before the release of this new information, the Wolfsburg manufacturer received another blow from Italy where the Anti-Trust Agency announced fines against Volkswagen of 5 million euro.

Moreover, the Germans are about to be "stabbed" by their own people after the Bavarian Ministry of Finance announced that the pension fund in the state would sue the automaker for losses caused by the emissions scandal. This fund lost about 800,000 euro after VW shares collapsed.
