BMW Work on Cost Cutting Methods for the Near Future
|   Wednesday, June 11, 2014
BMW plans on reducing labor and production cost to 81.2 Million Pounds, from 2015 onwards, in a bid to work on manufacturing facilities, across Bavaria, which could result in heavy cost cutting, soon. BMW also has plans to invest heavily in infrastructure, Research and Development, in order to stay on top of market rivals Audi and Mercedes Benz.

BMW revealed plans to invest $1 Billion, in their Spartanburg facility in South Carolina, which will increase production capacity and creating employment, for close to 800 people.
This could well become BMW's biggest production unit, post 2016, when production facilities will improve.

Cost cutting is an important scenario that needs proper implementation, in order to ensure maximum outputs. BMW is currently tightlipped on the amount of money that they wish to save, as a result of this policy. High sales targets have been pitched however, for the near future. Stay tuned for more.
