|   Thursday, February 28, 2013
The BMW car company is making efforts to sell about 570000 vehicles back. According to the news from the BMW Company, they are making some efforts to get to the safety regulators so that they can get about 570000 cars back to the station. These cars were sold in the United States and Canada. It is due to some faults in the battery cable connectors of the cars. The problem is that this can get the engine of the car to stop working. That affects the performance of the car.

The company will likely be calling three series cars back, which includes their sedans, wagons along with the convertibles. These cars are those who went on sale from 2007 to 2011. Not only this will the company be calling their one-series cars as well as the convertibles back that are from the models of 2008 to 2012. Another series of cars they will be ailing back is their Z4 roadsters.

The company is saying t o all their customers to by notifying them on the website etc. so that they can get the replacement of the battery cable connecter of their cars. For those who want to contact can easily get it replaced from any of the dealerships where the car is offered. This offer will start from the coming month of March.

The 3-series released by the company is the world top seller in the United states as well as it also has a title of No. 1-selling and well known luxury car in the states. It has a sale of about 99,602 in the previous year. This recall of the car affected 450,000 of this 3-series just in the United States, which is quite a big number.

As told by the company the problem lies in the tin-coated connector present in the pack that is used to link the positive battery of the cable to the fuse box of the car. The problem arises as this coating from time loses its original state and thus affects the performance of the car by disturbing the flow of power in the engine.

T here wer e a number of reports regarding this issue so the company took a note in the month of July 2010 on this and come to the root of the issue that is the tin-coated connector present in the battery pack.
This recall of the car includes 504,000 and 65,000 vehicles from the United States and as well as Canada respectively

The company states that they have located the problem, they have changed the coating of the car, and all the new cars are having a silver coating in the replacement of tin the car dealers will be doing the job of the repairing of the cars. This new coating will be better than the previous coatings and will be more effective.
