BMW set to launch the upgraded M125i

BMW has recently launched the M125i and this has been a much anticipated launch from BMW. The company has been hinting at the launch of an upgraded version, the M135i and wile this is launched, people have to be contended with the M125i. The 125i is the current hot selling hatch back in the market and the 2.0 liter turbo charged engine features twin scroll which displaces 218 BHP and 228 ft lb of torque @ 1350 – 4800 RPM.

Peak torque is developed between this range and as a result this is the optimum range of performance.
Low speed throttle is enhanced and this vehicle is quite fast till the 60 MPH mark. In fact the vehicle takes just 6.5 seconds to cover 60 MPH and the 125i is more economical than the 125d. With a top speed of 151 MPH, the 125i is quicker than the 125d by 2 MPH.

Exterior features have been enhanced and the 125i features 16 inch alloyed sports rim with side skirts and front and rear bumpers in addition to a twin chrome exhaust. The interiors have also been enhanced and the 125i features a more comfortable interior with aluminum finish door handles and gear knob. The steering wheel and seats have a leather covering and the center console looks stunning on the vehicle.

The vehicle sports a six speed manual gearbox which delivers the sleek power form the twin turbo engine to the chassis. However, what the car lags is a deep bass exhaust note. However, the 125i is an excellent driver friendly vehicle and the exhaust has been tuned to the optimum to produce most power at the smallest thrust of the pedal. Acceleration on thins vehicle is quite easy and the peppy performance gives the additional perk to the machine.

The 125i is a smooth freeway cruiser and driving this vehicle is a breeze. The 125i also features four distinct drive modes and these are optimum for driving in most on road conditions. The vehicle is quite confident at corners and there is minimal body roll, wheel spin and turbo lag. These make the 125i a treat to drive and extremely fast.

The vehicle takes 6.4 seconds to travel to 60 MPH from 0 MPH while featuring a top speed of 154 MPH. Priced at 26,070 Pounds, the 125i is not the cheapest on the block. It is however one of the best vehicles in class.

Power generation of 218 BHP @ 5000 RPM is optimum and the low throttle response works fine in city traffic. The vehicle is very comfortable to drive within the city traffic and hence the overall package is quite tempting.
This vehicle features in the same segment as that of the Volkswagen Golf and provides tough competition in the mini luxury hatch back segment.

Handling this vehicle is a breeze and as a result it is a complete performance package. The vehicle will be available across showrooms fall 2013 and the pre bookings have already started.
