BMW launches the new X6

The BMW X6 was the world's first ever sports activity coupe and was a best seller at the time of its launch. After three long years, the all new BMW X6 is here and it combines raw power and functionality into a unique blend of performance and ride ability.

The hype around the vehicle is mostly due to its new compact yet stylish designing and the very powerful V8 engine. The car boasts of advanced technological features like the Dynamic Performance Control, an all new all wheel drive technology and the BMW twin power technology.


The exterior of the X6 has been updated and the new front grille, head lamp design and body shape has given this vehicle an all new aggressive look. The rim sizes have been altered as well as the dual front fog lamps and the frontal air inlets. The front grille is done up in black matte and new seating position gives the car a more lateral feel from the driver's seat.

The BMW X6 features bi xenon head lamps and comes with an optional frontal LED head lamp. Overall, the X6 is more engrossed in beauty than before and styling plays an important part in the launch of the new model.
The interior of the X6 is done up in classy leather trim and Vermilion red is the new exterior paint scheme. The stark contrast between the paint schemes highlights the car and the car features high quality upholstery with the option of either Ebony, white or black interior pain schemes.

The new special external color schemes available are Orion Silver Metallic, Marrakesh Brown Metallic and Midnight Blue Metallic, apart from the previous eight metallic and three non metallic hues.

The X6 is powered by a BMW X6 xDrive 50i engine and delivers a total of 300 kW of power. The Twin turbo power charged technology used in the X6 powers the car and provides massive performance but with decent fuel economy. The BMW X6 is a complete all round vehicle and is suited to both city as well as high way driving conditions.

The X6 also features BMW's latest invention, Connected Drive, which is an advanced driving assistance system. Apart from this the other features instilled in the X6 is the lane departure warning system, the speed limit info, parking camera and side, front and the rear cameras.

The new X6 also features an advanced Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and can be plugged on to your smart phone or iPod. The new X6 comes with a factory fitted Bose audio device with 16 speakers and a woofer.

Listening to music on the move just got a lot better and BMW aims to improve the overall quality of a ride, with the launch of the new X6. The new X6 is already a huge hit with the BMW fans and the company hopes to see the car reach new heights in terms of sales figures. Sports enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the car to be up for sale.
