BMW Enjoys Greater Demand in the Luxury Segment, than Arch Rivals Audi and Mercedes Benz
|   Tuesday, June 17, 2014
BMW plans on increasing production capacity, as demand for luxury vehicles have increased within the past few months. Statistics show that BMW has managed to hold off competition from arch rivals such as Mercedes Benz and Audi, in class. BMW sold close to a 1,000 units more than Audi, back in the first quarter of 2014.

This is a heartening piece of news for the world's second largest premium car maker. Demand has grown in the European and Chinese markets, both of which play an important role in the global automotive sector.

Deliveries rose by 10 percent, as demand for their 5 Series and X5 has grown significantly, within the past couple of years. Demand for their Rolls Royce and Mini sub brands have also taken flight, which affects their business in a positive manner. BMW hopes to continue this uptrend, well into this decade, as they have a comprehensive model lineup, ready for reveal.
